6 GENERAL RULES All requests for information should be directed to: Diana Edwards Show Services 1562 Route 203, Howick, QC J0S 1G0 Tel: (450) Only dogs which are already registered in the Canadian Kennel Club Stud Book, or are eligible for such registration, can be entered. 2. To comply with instructions issued by the Canadian Kennel Club, we will be unable to accept any entry reaching our Show Secretary after the official closing date as published in this premium list. 3. No entry will be accepted unless all particulars called for on the entry form are filled in, ex.birthdate, Class, Sex, Owners address etc. 4. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY THE ENTRY FEE. 5. TELEPHONE ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED. 6. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs regardless of how or by whom the entries were made. Change or cancellation of any entry after closing day is prohibited. 7. The Kars Community Recreation Association has the right to refuse any entry, subject to C.K.C.Dog Show Rules. 8. THE SHOW SUPERINTENDENT WILL BE IN FULL CHARGE OF THE SHOW, which will be governed by C.K.C.Rules. 9. Identification cards and judging schedule will be mailed as soon as possible after entries close. 10. The person accompanying the dog must show the identification card before the dog is allowed in the show. Unless a dog is officially entered, it will not be allowed in the show precincts. 11. All dogs must be exercised in the exercise pens provided for that purpose. 12. Dogs need only arrive 15 minutes before scheduled judging time, and will be excused each show, when not required for further judging. 13. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have the dog in the ring when the dog s class is scheduled for judging. 14. The Show Committee and Diana Edwards Show Services will use due care and diligence for the welfare of the dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident, or other misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors, or patrons. 15. The show premises will open not later than one hour before scheduled judging times. 16. If because of riot, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or to complete the show no refund of entry fee will be made. 17. To avoid noise and confusion, there will be no individual dogs called to the ring by loud-speaker. Delays waiting for dogs will not be possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their breeds conflict. It shall be the duty and obligation of the show giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer, or any participant at an event is not subject to indignities. The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred.
