The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. (See Section 19.7) ENTRY FEES First entry each dog (per show) $ Baby Puppy Class $ Listing Fee (per show for dog with no indiv.ckc No.) $ 9.61 A listing fee is payable if a CKC or ERN number is not shown on the entry form. Your Credit Card number plus the expiry date must accompany your entry. Cardholder's name and address must also be included on each entry. All entries with a credit card number will be treated as a faxed entry and charge the fax fee. A fee of $25.00 will be levied on all Declined Credit Cards & NSF Cheques. ATTENTION FOREIGN EXHIBITORS Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian funds. If you send a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please do not mark cheques Payable in Canadian Funds or At Par. They will not be cleared by the banks. NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The Non-Member Participation Fee is fee paid in the calendar year (January December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles. CLASSES Baby Puppy A dog between 3 mths & 6 mths on the day of the show Junior Puppy A dog between 6 mths & 9 mths on the day of the show. Senior Puppy A dog between 9 mths & 12 mths on the day of the show Months A dog between 12 mths & 18 mths on the day of the show. 5 PRIZE MONEY ALLOCATION All sweepstake prize money is allocated by percentage within each class. Prize money is dependent on the number of entries within a class and paid as follows: First place in each class - 40% of entry fees, Rosette & Prize Best in Sweepstakes - 25% of entry fees, Rosette & Prize Best of Opposite Sex - 10% of entry fees, Rosette & Prize Second through fourth place - Rosette CCC administration - 25% of entry fees JUNIOR HANDLING (Under C.K.C.Rules) CCC National Only dogs entered in the show or as Exhibition Only that day, are eligible to be entered in the Junior Competition. Please note that all Junior Handlers must register their dog with the show secretary, at least one hour before scheduled judging. A rosette & prize will be awarded to each participant. Anyone wishing to reserve one of these rooms has until that date and after that these rooms will be available to the public. Pets are allowed in these room at an additional fee of $15 per night. Continental breakfast is included. All of these rooms are ground level so you can park your vehicle right at the door to your room. This motel is just around the corner, minutes from the show site. The Club and Diana Edwards Show Services will not be responsible of cash sent through the mail. 2. Returned cheques do not constitute a valid entry fee. A collection fee of $25.00 will be added by Diana Edwards Show Services in addition to any bank charges for each returned cheque. 3. There is no refund for duplicate entries. Every effort will be made to find all duplicate entries, however if the entry has been processed and appears in the official catalogue, no refund will be made. 4. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that the dog is absent, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, disqualified or barred from competition by action of the bench Committee. 5. If because of riot, civil disturbance or acts of God, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entries shall be made. 6. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs, regardless of how or by whom the entries were made. Change or cancellation of any entry after closing time is prohibited. 7. The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry subject to CKC rules. 8. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of Judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners/Agents are responsible to have their dogs present when their classes are called to be judged. 9. Exhibitors are requested to keep their grooming and crating areas clean and tidy. If space is at a premium, exhibitors must remove exercise pens if requested by the Show Superintendent. 10. It shall be the duty and obligation of the show giving club to ensure that a judge is not subject to indignities. The Conformation Show Committee shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. 11. The OBA will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors but will not be responsible for or assume liability in the event of accident, or other misfortunes to dogs, exhibitors or patrons 12. The Show Superintendent will be in complete charge of the show, which will be governed by CKC rules. BUILDING INFORMATION The building will open Friday at 2 PM, and will closed every night at 10 PM. No private exercise pens will be allowed after the opening of the show. SECTION 2: The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: Dogs Competing: or more POINTS ALLOCATED* *Includes the dog awarded WINNERS To determine the numbers of championship points earned by a dog awarded WINNERS total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the schedule set forth above.
