4 Some pictures from the past week Chewing sticks are yummy! They all want the same one though, just like small children ;-) L'Eau Par, Jungle & Flower (to the left) and Jungle & Signature (to the right). There are a lot of things to explore outdoors. (It is a shame with the strong cold though.) Jungle in the sea of snow. Flower & Jungle scouts on our neighbours.

7 Power is real eye candy and the other one are playing. 7 weeks and very playful!

~ 02-02-2011 ~ This week has gone incredible fast, maybe due to the fact that we have had visitors almost daily. The puppies enjoy the attention and greets everyone happily.

It is fascinating to see how the adult basenjis show the puppies how everything works outside.

8 ~ ~ This week has gone incredible fast, maybe due to the fact that we have had visitors almost daily. The puppies enjoy the attention and greets everyone happily. Their world have expanded enormously since they now are allowed to be short periods of time outdoors. Exploring grass, leafs, snow and many more. It is fascinating to see how the adult basenjis show the puppies how everything works outside. And showing them real basenji rushes "basenji 500" ;-) This adventure is starting to come to an end and the puppies new homes and families are waiting. Soon it is time for veterinary visit for vaccination, ID-chip and health check. Then they are ready to leave the nest. This week's traditional stacked photo session was the last here for the Parfumelitters members. They all look very promising and are full of basenji type :-) Faraoland L'Eau Par Kenzo (available)

14 The puppies explore the world and the whole family is involved. Dad Kenzo, mum Daisy and "big sister" Lily. Daisy invites them to play and then Lily do the same,"-catch me if you can!"

16 Signature makes a gallant attempt. L'Eau Par investigates the white stuff on the ground... The tricolour-boys are trying to enjoy the sun BUT, in the spring storm, realize that it does better indoors.

17 After outdooradventure, you sleep very well... The puppies appreciate the guests (both adults and childrens) laps :-)

18 So do the other dogs. Also simple things, like boxes, are fun and adventurous for little pups. Here it is Flower, Signature and L'Eau Par who have jumped in the "boat". To the right lovely Jungle.

20 Flower, Jungle, L'Eau Par, Signature and Power It is alot of coffee and cookies when having a litter of puppies! Though it is very joyful and pleasant to see everyone, relatives, friends and puppy buyers. But it has to be some change later, to be fit for "beach 2011" ;-) The puppies are growing fast and weighs now appr 2.5 kilograms each! For what is there, that is more wonderful than the feeling of sitting with your arms full of basenji puppies?

30 All are sitting nice but Jungle, who has taken a relaxed position ;-) We are now 5 weeks old! ~ ~ The puppy buyers comes one after another to see the puppies and enjoy some cuddle time. For what is there, that is more wonderful than the feeling of sitting with your arms full of basenji puppies?! Or for that matter, being bitten in your toes or nose by small puppy teeth ;-) Big sister Lily is now helping out as a full-time nanny and entertainer. Now the wonderful breed characteristic features comes more and more, the tails curls up and lies nicely on their hips, wrinkly expression to enjoy and dark almond shaped eyes with beautiful natural eyeliner.

37 4 weeks old! ~ ~

just 5-10 minutes later they all sleep like angels.

Most of them have standing ears now and their tails have started to curl.

38 Halftime! Puppies that are 4 weeks old want to explore the world, taste everything, sniff on everything and then, just 5-10 minutes later they all sleep like angels. It is really ON/OFF mode now and they are just gorgeous. Most of them have standing ears now and their tails have started to curl. They eat puppy food regularly a couple of times a day but appreciate a meal from mum, as dessert and snack. Nothing like mum's homemade, right ;-) We continue training with stacking photos even though they are a bit young yet. But practice makes perfect... Please enjoy, here are this week's pictures! 55 2 weeks old! ~ ~ This week our closest friends and family have been visiting. Daisy showed her puppies proudly yodelling! At the time for the 2-week photo session, the puppies have just started to open their eyes. Making their expression a bit squinting ;-) The little ones are trying to play with eachother and invites us and their mother to play as well. So cute!
