1 The Italian Greyhound Club Web: Chairperson: Mrs Jo Amsel, T: Judging List A List expires 31 December UPDATED JUNE Download the most up to date version of this list at: A1 Breed Specialists & A1 Non Breed Specialists For persons who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed and have the support of the Italian Greyhound Club. On completion of the IG Club questionnaire, the IG Club Judges Sub-Committee will consider the Judge s experience against the following criteria [save in exceptional circumstances] required for all the following Judging lists. The judges will be voted on by a secret ballot of the IG Club Judges Sub-Committee for inclusion on the lists. A3 - Breed Specialists IG Club requirements: 1. Minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the IG Club 2. Ideally to have judged at an IG Club Open Show and/or Championship show without CC s. 3. To have judged the breed at 5 Open shows with an adequate geographical spread 4. To have judged ideally a minimum of 20 classes of Italian Greyhounds and a minimum of 50 dogs A3 Non Breed Specialists IG Club requirements: 1. Minimum of 7 years judging experience in any one breed [to include 5 years of judging Italian Greyhounds] and have the support of the IG Club 2. Ideally to have judged at an IG Club Open Show and/or Championship show without CC s 3. To have judged the breed at 5 Open shows without CCs with an adequate geographical spread 4. To have judged ideally a minimum of 20 classes of Italian Greyhounds and a minimum of 50 dogs * Kennel Club mandatory requirements (For Judges who have not previously awarded Challenge Certificates to any breed) 1. To have attended and been successfully assessed where applicable: 2. KC Rules and Regulations seminar 3. KC conformation and movement seminar 4. Hands on assessment 5. IG Club breed related seminar 6. Ideally to have stewarded at a minimum of 12 shows 7. To have bred/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs when they have obtained their first entry in the KC Stud Book A2 - Breed Specialists & Non Breed Specialists Judges who have successfully participated in the assessment procedures and have in principle been approved by the Kennel Club to award CC s if invited by a Society. B Breed Specialists 1. To have 5 years experience owning and exhibiting Italian Greyhounds and to have the support of the IG Club [mandatory]

2 2. To have judged this breed at Limited, Open or Championship shows without Challenge Certificates 3. To have judged 10 dogs of this breed 4. To have attended a breed related seminar and passed assessment* B Non Breed Specialists 5. To have 5 years owning and exhibiting experience in any one breed and to have the support of the IG CLUB and to have attended a breed related seminar [mandatory] and passed assessment*. 6. To have judged this breed at Limited, Open or Championship shows without Challenge Certificates 7. To have judged 10 dogs of this breed 8. Applications will be considered from judges who comply with item 1 [mandatory] and either items 2 or 3 C Breed Specialists and Non Breed Specialists Aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and have the support of the IG Club.
