1 MOVE UP FORM As per Section 13, American Kennel Club Regulation for Agility Trials, dogs may be moved up to a higher class, at the request of the Owner, as a result of qualifying for an agility title. Dogs so moved up will be entered at the end of the running order or otherwise at the secretary s or Judges Discretion. FIRST - PLEASE READ THE MOVE-UP SECTION IN THIS PREMIUM LIST ED MOVEUPS: When ing a moveup to the Trial Secretary please just give the following information. Owner Name, Dog Call Name, AKC registration number, Move up from, Moving to and in what class (STD, JWW) NOVICE MOVEUPS: Dogs having attained their first AKC Agility Title (Std OR JWW) must be moved to the Nov B Class (Std and JWW) for all trials that have not reached the closing date. Once a trial closing date has past, a dog cannot be moved from Nov A to Nov B. If the trial has already reached the closing date on the day the dog obtained its title, the dog shall remain in the class in which it was originally entered. The dog can be moved up a level (Nov to Open) at the request of the owner subject to the normal move-up criteria. 3 EXHIBITOR INFORMATION 1. All classes will be held outdoors. The size of the rings will be 100 by THIS TRIAL IS LIMITED TO PBGVS. 3. DOGS PARTICIPATING must be fifteen months of age or older and must be registered with the American Kennel Club or have an AKC Limited Registration or PAL registration. Dogs must be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf shall not be eligible. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. 4. Bitches in season shall not be eligible to participate. Refund of entry fees will be made for bitches in season after the closing of entries only with a veterinarian s certification of the bitch being in season and there will be a $5.00 secretarial fee per trial deducted from the refund. Vet certificates must be received before the end of the day of the trial. 5. REFUNDS: There shall be no refunds for entries withdrawn in the event a dog and/or handler are injured, absent, or dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of management it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Refunds are allowed if requested before the closing date. Refunds after closing date for bitches in season only. 6. Move ups deadline for trials is Tuesday, April 17 at 6PM. The regulations for Agility Trial are available from the American Kennel Club, 5580 Canterview Dr., Raleigh, NC These trials will be held under these rules. Exhibitors are expected to be familiar with the rules and regulations. 8. RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. A charge of $25.00 will be made for each returned check. 9. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendations to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. 10. Check with your own vet for any health certificates that might be required for traveling to the National Specialty site regarding crossing state lines, etc. Declining of Entries: The PBGVCA, Inc. may decline any entries or may remove any dog from its event for cause, but in each such instance shall file good and sufficient reasons for doing so with the American Kennel Club. CLASSES AND DIVISIONS Classes offered arestandard, JWW and T2B Novice A & B, Open, Excellent, Master Preferred-Novice, Open, Excellent, Master There are no FAST classes offered at these trials Regional and National Classes will be run concurrently Each class will run Regional Trial first, then change, then National Trial Please see the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials for current class descriptions. Dogs must be entered only in Regular Classes or Preferred Classes with no crossover between them allowed at the same set of trials. HEIGHT DIVISIONS Owners/Agents are responsible for entering the proper height divisions. All height divisions will be offered in both the standard classes and the jumpers with weaves classes. Regular Exhibitors may choose to enter their dog in a higher height division than required by AKC, but not in a height division lower than the AKC mandated height Preferred The following jump heights must be used in all Preferred Classes. REGULAR PREFERRED Dogs 11 inches and under at the withers 8 inches 4 inches Dogs 14 inches and under at the withers 12 inches 8 inches Dogs 18 inches and under at the withers 16 inches 12 inches MEASURING If you have never been measured for a permanent AKC jump height card, you can still enter any AKC Agility Trial. All jump heights MUST be measured unless you have a valid height card. If you do have a permanent jump height card from the AKC, you must send in a copy with your entry form If there is no official measurer at the trial, you will be measured by the judge for that trial only. If your dog measures lower at the trial, you cannot move your dog down in jump height for that trial unless it is entered in the Preferred class. If your dog measures higher than the class you originally entered, you must notify the trial secretary and show your dog in the higher jump height for that trial and subsequent shows.

4 CLOSE OF ENTRIES All entries with fees must be received by the Trial Secretary not later than WEDNESDAY, April 4, 2018 at 6PMPDT after which time no entries will be accepted, canceled, or substituted, except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the AKC Dog Show Rules. INSTRUCTIONS Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may notcompete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division. All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box. Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) If the Junior Handler is not the owner of the dog identified on the face of this form, what is the relationship of the Junior Handler to the Owner?
