Obedience or Rally A dog who has earned a title after entries have closed may be transferred to another class, provided the transfer request is presented to the Show Secretary at least one-half hour prior to the start of the trial. Best of Variety Special Awards Sunday only After the BOV, BOW, BOS, Select Dog and Select Bitch competition is completed, the Judge may give Awards of Merit to the remaining dogs & bitches (up to 10%) that completed the BOV competition. AKC National Owner-Handled Series Judging for the AKC National Owner Handled Series is conducted following Best of Variety judging. All eligible dogs in the BOV competition (including WD & WB) will stay in the ring after the judge makes their placements in BOV competition. Dogs must be handled by an eligible owner/handler for the AKC NOHS throughout th e breed level (all classes, Winners, and Best of Breed) competition.

5 Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries STUD DOG CLASS Is for stud dogs and a minimum of 2, or maximum of 3 of their get. The stud dog MUST be entered in the class and shown in the ring with the get. The Owner of the stud dog need not be the owner of the get. The get MUST be entered in a regular class, best of breed competition or some other non-regular class. The class will be judged on the merits of the get. BROOD BITCH CLASS - Is the same as for the stud dog class, except substitute brood bitch for stud dog and produce for get. BRACE CLASS - Is two dogs, which have at least one common owner. Requires a fee of $15.00 for the unit. The dogs comprising a brace class must be named at the time of entry. If a dog, which is part of a brace class, is not entered in another class, it MUST be entered for Brace Class Only. In making for Brace Class Only, full particulars must be given for each dog on individual entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in another class and entered as part of a brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space provided for Additional Classes - Brace Class. If more than one brace is entered by identical ownership, the dogs comprising EACH brace must be designated brace No. 1, brace No. 2, etc. Contact Show Secretary by to enter second brace dog in Both animals must be intact. Best of Breed Breeders Cup Competition - Special Attraction (Sunday Only) ELIGIBILITY: A multiple entry class consisting of 3-5 dogs of the same breed. All dogs must have at least one breeder in common who must be present to accept the award. The individual dogs comprising the entry must be from at least two different combinations of parents, but need not be owned or handled by the breeder. Each individual dog must be handled by its own handler. Each dog must be entered individually in a regular class. The entry fee for the Breeders class will be $5.00 and submitted by the breeder who is entering the class. One entry fee for each breeder. A dog may not be entered for two different breeder entries. The entry form is available in this document. If entering Breeders Cup Competition through Breeder enter one and pay for one animal and forward the attached form to Show Secretary at mayhembts@rogers.com OBEDIENCE CLASSIFICATIONS PLEASE NOTE: Females in season are not permitted to compete. If a female is withdrawn from competition because it came into season and the Event Secretary is notified no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial, the Club will refund the entry fee, less $10.00 administration fee. Novice A, B Preferred Novice Beginner A, B Graduate Novice Open A, B Preferred Open Graduate Open Utility A, B Preferred Utility Versatility RALLY CLASSIFICATIONS PLEASE NOTE: Females in season are not permitted to compete. If a female is withdrawn from competition because it came into season and the Event Secretary is notified no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial, the Club will refund the entry fee, less $10.00 administration fee. Rally Novice A Rally Advanced A Rally Excellent A Rally Novice B Rally Advanced B Rally Excellent B Rally Intermediate Rally Master Pee Wee Competition - Special Attraction (Sunday Only) The Pee Wee Special Attraction is a pre-junior Showmanship class. The Pee Wee class is geared toward children 5 9 years of age. Safety is a primary concern. Each Pee Wee unit consists of the child, his/her parent/guardian/responsible adult, and the dog. Only one Pee Wee unit is in the ring at a time. This is not a competitive class, but rather a fun, learning experience for the child and the adult. A dog must be at least four months of age to enter the Pee Wee class. Bitches in season will not be allowed to participate. If pre-entered, a dog may be substituted that meets the eligibility requirements as specified by the club. All dogs entered must have the proper lead and collar. A responsible adult must be present with the child both inside and outside the ring. The adult is to maintain control of the dog outside of the ring. The safety of both the dogs and Juniors inside and outside the ring is a primary concern. Outside of the ring, the dog is to be controlled by the adult accompanying the child. An additional lead, provided by the Club, will be at the Judge s table. At the Judge s discretion based upon the size of the child and the dog, for safety purposes the adult may be asked to attach a second lead to the dog so both child and adult will walk the dog together. In addition to an entry, a release must be signed by the child s parent or legal guardian prior to judging. Junior Showmanship Competition Novice Class- for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class. A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition would count as one win towards moving to Open at a licensed or member show. Open Class- For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who, have won three First Place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Master Class- This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 Best Junior wins with competition. Each dog entered in a regular Junior Showmanship class at an all-breed dog show must be of a breed eligible to compete in the conformation classes (including Miscellaneous Classes) at the event. However, an eligible dog may be substituted. Such substitutions must be accompanied by an official AKC entry form. The junior must have the AKC number of the substitute dog. All such substitutions must be

6 made one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship classes at the show. Each dog must be owned or co-owned by the Junior Handler or by the Junior Handler's father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandfather, or grandmother, including step and half relations or by a permanent member of the Junior Handler's household. BITCHES IN SEASON ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least half-hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Winning of First Place in an Open Junior Showmanship Class at this show may qualify or count toward qualification for entry in certain future limited Junior Showmanship Classes. For information on eligibility requirements for limited Junior Showmanship Classes, which have been approved to date by the AKC, write to the American Kennel Club, Show Plans, 8051 Arco Corporate Drive Suite 100 Raleigh, NC juniors@akc.org. Junior Handlers must include their AKC Junior Handler identification number on the entry blank. You may obtain your number by ing juniors@akc.org NOTICE: Be sure all information for Junior Showmanship classes is entered on the front and back of the entry form. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS Enter by mail, fax or through FAX ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED at US and Canada only). Both sides of the completed entry form must be included along with the BTCA Credit Card form. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. The American Kennel Club will collect: a $3.00 Event Service Fee and a $.50 Recording Fee where applicable for the first entry of a dog, plus a $3.00 service fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single-entry classes, in all AKC licensed and member club events. At every licensed or member club rally trial, a recording fee of $3.50 is required for the first entry of each dog and a recording fee of $3.00 is required for each additional entry of the same dog. The event-giving Club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Event Service Fees for The American Kennel Club. These event service and recording fees shall be forwarded to The American Kennel Club along with all other required event results within seven (7) days of the close of the event. ENTRIES CLOSE AT 8:00 PM EST, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2018 after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, changed or substituted except as provided for in the AKC Dog Show Rules chapter 11, section 6. ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, barred from competition by action of the show committee or cancellation of win by the American Kennel Club. No entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. There is no refund for Duplicate Entries or Overpayments. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show, No Refunds will be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline ENTRIES NOT ON AN OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORM or photocopies of the form WITHOUT the agreement and rules on the reverse side will NOT be accepted. Entries without the fees are not acceptable. No entry fee will be refunded if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riot, civil disturbance, fire, act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strike or any other cause beyond the control of the club or its secretary. CHANGES, ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED in writing prior to the closing of entries. Those received by telephone are NOT acceptable. ERRORS ON ENTRIES: Owners are responsible for any errors on entry forms, no matter who filled out the entry form or made the error. No entry fees will be refunded in the event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. There will be no refund for duplicate entries. Returned checks do NOT constitute a valid entry. Entry confirmations will be ed to entrants. JUDGES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WAIT FOR DOGS. They will adhere to the judging schedule as closely as possible. Owners and Agents are fully responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring at the appropriate time. The showgiving club and the show secretary have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public-address system, stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought to the ring when required. DOGS NEED ONLY BE PRESENT for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITORS must submit entries with checks drawn on US accounts or with international money orders guaranteed in US funds. Payments via Master Card and Visa will be accepted. THE SHOW GIVING CLUB, THE SHOW SECRETARY, THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, ETC., ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY for injury to children or persons attending or participating in the show. The Bull Terrier Club of America may cancel these events due to extreme weather conditions and no refund of entry fees will be made. BTCA National Specialty, Sunday, October 21, 2018 Trophy Prizes The following prizes are offered by the Bull Terrier Club of America and its donors: Best of Breed The Bull Terrier Club of America offers The George Schreiber Zodiac Bull Terrier Memorial Trophy, donated by Thomas and Barbara Bishop and Dorothy Cherry, to the owner of the dog or bitch winning Best of Breed. Permanent possession of this trophy goes to the owner winning Best of Breed three consecutive times (not necessarily with the same dog). The name of the winner shall be placed on this trophy each year. Best of Breed Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed Engraved Pewter Footed Punch Bowl Engraved Fancy Loving Cup For the 2018 BTCA National Specialty Show Best of Breed winner, a special onetime Trophy will be offered in memory of Rosalind Clamper, Domino Bull Terriers, by her family. For the 2018 BTCA National Specialty Show Best of Opposite Sex to the Best of Breed winner, a special one-time Trophy will be offered in memory of Tom Huey, by Jan Dykema.

11 Bull Terrier Club of America Breeders Cup Competition Special Attraction Entry Form Eligibility: A multiple entry class consisting on 3-5 dogs of the same breed. All dogs must have at least one breeder in common who must be present to accept the award. The individual dogs comprising the entry must be from at least two different combinations of parents but need not be owned or handled by the breeder. Each individual dog must be handled by its own handler. Each dog must be entered individually in a regular class. The entry fee for the Breeders Cup Competition will be $5.00 and submitted by the breeder who is entering the class. One entry fee for each breeder.
