3 C O N D I T I O N S O F P A Y M E N T The Breeder agrees to hold the chosen kitten stipulated above in favor of the Buyer for a further 7 days from the date of this contract until said contract is signed. In the event that the contract is not signed and returned to the Breeder by the Buyer within 7 days of the date on this contract, the Breeder will automatically release the booking on the kitten stipulated above. A non refundable 25% deposit of the kitten value, equivalent to Euro ( ) will be due from the Buyer to the Breeder immediately. The Breeder is bound to hold the kitten listed above until xx but reserves the right to release the services if this deposit is not received by this date. The rest of the payment, equivalent to 75% deposit of the kitten value will be due from Buyer to the Breeder on pick up day. The Breeder, Fishbone Ragdolls Cattery, provides a 72 hour limited health warranty that the above kitten is in good health and is free from upper respiratory infections, fleas or ear mites. The Breeder also warranties that the kitten is free of the feline leukemia virus (FeLV), feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) at the time of purchase. 2. If the kitten described above dies within two years of the date of purchase due to a congenital or hereditary defect, the Breeder will replace the cat with a cat or kitten of similar or better quality or refund of all or part of the purchase price, at the discretion of the Breeder. To determine if the cat's death has been caused by a congenital or hereditary defect, the Breeder must receive proof of the defect in the form of a complete autopsy report, completed by an EU approved laboratory and performed at the Buyer's expense. The Breeder will make every attempt to replace the cat with a kitten of similar or better colour, marking, and quality. 3. The Breeder will have completed all of the age appropriate vaccinations, worming, and neuter/spay (for kittens not purchased as breeders). A copy of the kitten's health record will be given to the buyer at the time of purchase. If the Buyer chooses to inoculate for feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), the warranty is invalidated. 4. In addition, the Breeder will not warranty the kitten against any adverse reactions to future vaccinations.

If this kitten is found to have been neglected by the buyer, in ill health for an unreasonable length of time or if the Buyer does not abide by the terms of this contract, the Buyer will surrender the said kitten to the Breeder unconditionally. 6. The Breeder will give the Buyer the kitten's pedigree and TICA (The International Cat Association) registration confirmation on pick up. The Buyer will then use this form to change the ownership of the kitten onto his name. B U Y E R O B L I G A T I O N S 1. In order to validate this warranty, the Buyer must take the kitten to a veterinarian within 72 hours, at the Buyer's expense. The Buyer must notify the Breeder of any claim under the warranty immediately. Any necessary treatment or other expenses must be authorised by the Breeder prior to treatment. 2. If the veterinarian finds any physical problems that make the kitten a poor health risk, the veterinarian should write and sign a short note on his/her letterhead stationery, explaining his/her findings. The kitten may be returned to the Breeder within seven days for a full refund or exchange for a new kitten, if available. The Buyer will be responsible for any shipping and handling costs. The Breeder will make every attempt to replace the kitten with a kitten of the same gender, color, and markings, of similar or better quality. 3. The Buyer agrees to provide the cat with a clean, pleasant environment, conducive to good health and with adequate space for exercise. At least one litter box will be provided for each cat in the household and will be cleaned daily. The cat will be kept un caged unless absolutely necessary for the cats safety or health and, only then if for a short period of time (such as cat show). 4. The Buyer will provide the cat with proper nutrition in the form of food that is healthful, balanced for feline diet and low in by product ingredients to maintain good health of the cat. Fresh water will be provided daily. 5. The Buyer will provide the cat with proper veterinarian care and vaccines, and companionship equivalent 1 male to 3 females, in case of breeding purposes, until male has reached his sexual maturity, i.e. 18 months old. Any significant health conditions during the cat's lifetime will be reported to the Breeder. 6. The buyer will take into consideration the Ragdoll cat's unique need for companionship and not leave the cat alone for long periods of time without human attention and care. 7. The Buyer will not let the cat roam outdoors (Ragdolls are very docile in nature and are defenceless against other outdoor cats). Letting the kitten/cat roam outdoors is a violation of this contract. 8. The Buyer will not declaw the kitten/cat. De clawing procedure is in violation of this contract. A scratching post or cardboard scratch board, and regular claw trimming will be provided for the cat. 9. The Buyer is not allowed to reproduce this cat (by breeding, cloning, etc.) without written consent from the Breeder.

5 10. The Buyer will not, under any circumstances, give, sell, or lease the kitten/cat to any animal shelter, research facility, laboratory, pet store, or other commercial or noncommercial enterprise. In the event that the Buyer can no longer keep the kitten/cat, the Breeder will be contacted immediately as first option to assist in the placement of the animal. L O N G T E R M H E A L T H C A R E & L E G A L P R O C E E D I N G S 1. The Breeder will not be held liable for any veterinary or health care costs occurring while the cat is in possession of the Buyer, except as provided for by the above limited warranty. 2. The Breeder's maximum liability to the Buyer for any and all losses, claims, damages, or liability of any kind shall be limited to the amount paid by the Buyer to the Breeder under this agreement. Any expenses for health care requested of the Breeder by the Buyer will be paid at the discretion of the Breeder. If Buyer fails to comply with any aspect of this agreement, the Buyer forfeits any rights the Buyer may otherwise have. 3. If legal proceedings become necessary, the Buyer agrees that all legal and/or court procedures take place the county in which the Breeder resides. By signing below, the parties of the Buyer and the Breeder indicate that they have read and agreed with all of the provisions of the above contract. V A R I A T I O N S No verbal representations or arrangements are recognized by the Breeder and a written notice can only modify the Conditions of this contract. If any individual provision of this contract should prove legally invalid, the legal validity of the other contents of the contract shall not be affected. Both contracting parties commit themselves to replace any legally invalid provision by a legally valid one which approximates the economic purpose and the gist of the invalid provision.
