2 BUGGY YAHTZEEFUN Buzz, buzz, buzz goes the fun! 10-8 & This page was created by Jimmy Welsh and Jamie Bragg This day was a day that the members of PAWS played buggy Yahtzee. This was an exploring experience into the world of Yahtzee. This was the game of bugs and dice. Do you know how to play yahtzee? The way you play is by rolling six dice three times and you can keep any of the dice any of the three times. The goal of the game is to get the most points by getting sets like a full house, three of a kind and two pair, hey, that sounds kind of like poker with dice. 2

Things We Can Do This was produced, directed, and made by Jason Duarte, John Alitz On April 8th, 2014 All of the P.A.W..S members started there 2nd week of quilling. Lots of people.started to make their animals. People also worked on their background. They also made different critters. We made then them with paper glue and sticks. We used different colored papers to make the different kind of critters Quilling was one of the best things we did in P.A.W..S. It was fun simple and easy. We especially enjoyed the time when all of the pictures were done because they looked so awesome. In addition to that quilling allowed us to do crafts and enjoy ourselves. The best part about quilling is that we got snacks during thus process. Quilling was a great craft and I suggest u try it. 21
22 CAT BEDS, AWAY!! Even More Fluffy Tailed Friends On April 22nd, 2014, the P.A.W.S. students of H.M.S. made cat beds out of sweaters! We made a lot of cat beds for a lot of fluffy cats. The way the beds are made is by cutting a sweater into a square with double layers, and making cuts in the side of the square so that there are two flaps on each side of the square that you tied together to make a nice, fluffy, edge. On April 22nd, our P.A.W.S members gathered together to help the cats at common sense by making cat beds. After walking out of the HMS building after P.A.W.S. on that day, the members of P.A.W.S. will fell better knowing that some homeless cats will have something other than a hard, stone, floor. 24 I would like to thank all of our P.A.W.S. Members for their hard work and dedication this year. This scrapbook was completely done by the members of the club. I only assembled the pages. Moreover, I would like to thank the many adults who supported the club and its members throughout the year. The club could truly not have be so effective without all of the many people helping us out. There were parents who chaperoned and drove members to the shelter. There is Mrs. Griffin always looking for ways to help us accomplish our goals in this rule driven society. And of course last but most certainly not least, our dear friends from Common Sense for Animals, both furry and human. Although there are too many to name for sure, Mr. Jerry and Ms. Gail top the list with their supportive visits and help in planning the many activities we have created and participated in this year. Kudos to all of you for making this such a fabulous year! I look forward to another such year for And don t forget to take P.A.W.S. this summer to spend time with your own favorite furry, feathered, or finny friend! Best wishes for a fabulous summer, Mrs. Craig PS-lease understand that this publication was quite an undertaking, and was completed without proper time to edit. Please know that mistakes are present, but they certainly don t interfere with the most important thing: the message that these children love animals! 24
