7 WWF S RANGER GAME Rangers are the eyes and ears of the forest, protecting wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. A tiger ranger will work to help protect these majestic big cats from illegal wildlife trade, human wildlife conflict and habitat loss. It s a really tough job that requires team work, dedication and a passion for wildlife and the natural world. Do you have what it takes to be a tiger ranger? Our ranger game sheet with the different items he needs to do his work A dice A pencil per team You can also watch a short film that shows the important job rangers do to help protect endangered species. youtube.com/watch?v=6ze_tcnpa6y 30 mins all ages The aim of the game! This is a game for groups of 4-6 children, with the aim of seeing who can equip their ranger the fastest with everything they need to look after tigers. Each ranger will need to collect: Boots and uniform A waterproof jacket GPS System for tracking Training and support A fair wage Once your ranger has collected all of the items listed above, you can draw an large smile on your ranger! How to play 1. To collect these essential items, each team member throws a dice in turn; with the aim of throwing a six. 2. Teams need to work closely together to pass the dice quickly. Fantastic team work is a big part of being a top ranger! 3. When a team member throws a six they can link the ranger to the equipment of their choice before passing on the dice to the next team member. 4. Once the team has linked all of the essential equipment, a final six will need to be rolled in order to add your ranger s happy smile 5. Once this has been done the group must shout TEAM RANGER as loud as they can! The first group to shout TEAM RANGER is the winner.
