It was a pleasure to be back, it was my second time judging for GCCF. I want to thank Sarah, Sue, Heather and the whole show team for inviting me to judge at these two combined shows. I don t know the GCCF show system as well as in FIFe, but with help from Sarah and my super stewards, Maggie Birchall, I found my way through the show. Thank you Sarah and Maggie! The show was very well organized and the atmosphere friendly. I really enjoyed judging so many beautiful cats and it is interesting to see how some breeds look slightly different from what we see at FIFe shows. Ex. heart shaped head with good breadth at eye level. Ex. bite. Beautiful expression, large eyes with very fine blue colour. Large ears set high on head. Semi cobby body with good muscle tone, powerful but still elegant. Ex. fine and glossy coat, good blue colour and contrast to points. Fine length and shape of tail. To me this was one of the best cats I judge at the show, very promising young female with typical Korat/Thai voice and ex. 188 Ms J Cherkas, I GR CH & OB I GR PR JUSARKA THAI LILAC PROMISE, (KOR). FN. 2 nd. Res. Oly. A very attractive lady of good age. I often fall for fully developed Korat as this beautiful female is. She has ex. semi cobby body of fine size. Beautiful heart shaped head with good breadth between and across the eyes, soft contours in head. Super look, large round brilliant green eye. Level bite. Ex. glossy coat, even blue colour with silver tipping. Tail in proportions to body. Wonderful I had the privilege to see her again since she was nominated by another judge for Best in Show and I must say that I placed her as my Best in show with pleasure. 79 Miss E Camilleri, IMP GR PR CHEHAM CHANTILLY LACE, (RGM n 03 21 32). FN. 3 rd. Young female, still developing. Good size and substantial boning. Broad head with soft contours. Lovely green expressive eyes. Soft and dens coat. FN. 4 th.ex. cobby body with strong boning, Round head with short nose and a good stop, level bite, rounded forehead. Expressive eyes, fine colour. Not in full coat, but fine and silky texture.
