3 To all the exhibitors and exhibits, welcome to our 2016 Grand Parade. It is with pleasure I present our international judge from New Zealand, Chris Lowe. Chris will be ably assisted by her stewards Dick Wye and Ern Fuller. The Grand Parade coordinating team of Dick Wye, Jen Rogers, Gwen Dare, Nicole Whatson and Marina Kendrick are to be congratulated on their efforts to bring this event to fruition. The effort you exhibitors have put into your breeding programs, to achieve qualification into today s event, along with the grooming and maintenance of your wonderful cats/kittens deserves all the accolades that come your way, you all are great ambassadors for the cat fancy. I am so very proud of Ancats, its members and their cats, you folk are the reason that I enjoy what I do, and could not do half of it without Bambi by my side. Have a great day. 4 SHOW AWARDS Random Vetting is an option at all ANCATS shows Please note, cats not in show condition will not be judged. PEDIGREE Each judge will judge every pedigree exhibit entered in the show and will award to those cats that they decide meet the Ancats National standards: CHALLENGE - One challenge will be awarded to each entire male, female and alter male and female cat in the Ancats National recognised breeds and colors. BEST OF DIVISION - and RUNNER UP Will be awarded from the eligible males and female Kittens, Cats and Alters, in any of the 6 divisions relevant to each breed. BEST of BREED - and RUNNER UP Will be awarded from the eligible male and female Kittens, Cats and Alters. TOP FIVE - Kittens, Cats and Alters will be awarded in each group. TOP TEN - Kittens, Cats and Alters, will be awarded in each judge s assignment. SUPREME EXHIBIT - Will be awarded in each all breed ring. BEST IN SHOW - Will be awarded by each judge in a speciality ring. ANCATS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS - Titled cats can compete for this award in their sex/group in each ring at the show. DOMESTIC/PART-PEDIGREE CATS - Compete for awards (Companion) in the same manner as all cats entered in the show. COLOURED - curtains may be used for all exhibits. ALL cat s claws need to be clipped front and back. Cats without claws clipped will be considered by judges as not in show condition. All Exhibits are required to remain benched until the Best of the Best presentations are completed

WHAT IS DEFINED AS AN ACCIDENTAL INJURY? An accidental injury is an unforeseen event that results in visible, physical or bodily injuries to your pet. An illness means an unexpected sickness or disease or any change to your pet s normal healthy state which is not caused by injury to your pet. For example, upset stomach, skin conditions, ear infection, poisoning. HOW DO I MAKE A CLAIM? When you activate your 2 months free cover, you will be able to register for our secure pet portal, where claiming is easy - simply upload a copy of your vets tax invoice and consultation notes. If it is your first claim, you will need to attach a full veterinary history. You can call our friendly customer service team on for claim forms if you do not have access to customer portal. WHY DO I NEED TO COMPLETE MY BANKING DETAILS IF THE POLICY IS FREE FOR 2 MONTHS? Even though the ANCATS offer is 2 months free cover, we will need your banking details to complete the electronic application process. This is a standard process that does not change with free cover and ensures that in the event of a claim, we have your bank details in which to refund you your vet bills. Rest assured, no premiums will be deducted from your account unless you choose to continue paid cover with us. WHY DOES THE PROCESS GIVE ME A PREMIUM AMOUNT? The process is our standard online application process and provides you with a quoted premium amount in the event that you choose to extend your cover with us.
