VACCINATION CERTIFICATES Don t forget to bring vaccination certificates for all kittens coming into the show. Certificates must be sighted by the vet or delegated official on the day of the show. Kittens without current vaccinations will not be allowed into the venue JUNIOR EXHIBITORS Must be between the ages of 8 & 16 yrs at the beginning of the show season to compete in this class. I am incredibly lucky that my hobby revolves around those felines that I love so much! I have been with TICA close to 20 years, serving as an Allbreed Judge, a threetime-elected Board member, and with the Clerking Program. I have bred Bengals, Havana Browns and Sphynx. I have additionally owned/exhibited Abyssinians, American Shorthairs, Balinese, Bombays, Burmese, Cornish Rex, Ragdolls, Siamese and Savannahs as well as the occasional mixed breed love. I have been fortunate to earn many international wins on my cats over the years. I also have the fortune to have been elected by the members as the TICA International Judge of the Year for It is a true honor! Additionally, I hold a full Allbreed license in WCF. Professionally, I have two degrees in management, Culinary Arts (chef) and Restaurant/Hotel Management. I held previously the National Feline Breed Manager position with Royal Canin USA for over 5 1/2 years, developing business by working directly with cat breeders and clubs from all 50 states. To my good fortune, I have had the opportunity to train/lecture judges, exhibitors and spectators in cat fancy not only about breeds and breed origins, but also about the origin of all cats and how their development compares to dogs. I also train on cattery and rescue management, mitigating risks of disease in the show ring (for judges and exhibitors), and more. My passion is to train on the psychology of cats, and how judges can use this to their advantage to help each cat have a better experience in the rings, and show itself off to the best of its ability. I look forward to everything I can learn in the cat fancy, be it from breeders, other countries, different associations, genetics lectures - if there is an opportunity to learn, I am the first in line to attend. 5 Troy Willems ~ FCCV Throughout my childhood my family had always had pets, we always had dogs and cats and on occasion guinea pigs, birds and tropical fish also. Our cats were always moggies and our was born and bred in Queensland spending the majority of my childhood in Central Queensland and my late teenage years and early adulthood in South East Queensland. I relocated my young family to Victoria in May 2005 due to work commitments. In late 2005 I stumbled across an article on the Bengal breed and instantly fell in love of the idea of a domesticated hybrid with Asian Leopard Cat links. I did some further research into the breed and knew that I had to have these magnificent cats in my life. I joined the FCCV in early 2006 as a breeder under the Voodoocatz prefix and secured my first breeding pair shortly thereafter. I started showing my Seal Mink Marbled Male in late 2006 but unfortunately he didn't quite have the right temperament for the show bench and he was retired from the show bench early on. My next home bred show cat Voodoocatz Khanji was the complete opposite of his father and absolutely loved every minute of every show whether being judged on the show bench, waiting patiently in his show cage or getting out to meet the public after judging was completed. Khanji had a very successful show career also making his way to CCCA Champion and Emerald Grand Champion status. I had become a judging steward with the FCCV and thoroughly enjoyed my time working with some wonderful judges both domestic and international. An opportunity arose to undertake the Group 3 judges course with the FCCV. I put forward my application and was accepted into the course. I really enjoyed the course and all the trainee judging. Hazel Rossiter ~ Cats NSW Since my childhood, I have had animals in my life and it was inevitable that I would be involved with them as an adult. I have owned and successfully shown Labrador Retrievers in the U.K. In the early eighties, I left the Channel Islands and emigrated to Australia with my family and my two Labradors. After thoroughly enjoying showing my dogs in the UK I then decided to look at the various cat breeds. I purchased two Siamese cats as pets in 1986 and this was invariably my introduction to the Cat Fancy. I have bred and shown Burmese, Siamese, and Oriental Shorthairs and have had considerable success under the "Ahzel" prefix. I have also owned a Devon Rex and our household currently includes a Scottish Fold plus British Shorthairs which I currently show. Not to forget our domestics which I have rescued and welcomed into our home, whilst they do not have a pedigree there is a place for them at shows and I take great pleasure in judging them and giving them awards. I have been actively involved in numerous clubs and have held various positions of Secretary of the Burmese Cat Society of A/Asia and President of the Oriental Cat Club of NSW. I gained my group 3 judges licence in 1999 followed by group 2 in 2004 and group 1 in I moved to CATS NSW in 2015 I have judged in most states of Australia and internationally New Zealand and Philippines

6 Barbara Martland ~ FASA I have been involved with the cat fancy since 1971 when I registered my prefix Arrakish to breed Persian cats. I bred Persians for 18 years. During the last 43 years I have run many shows and held positions at FASA, I am currently Convener of Breeds and Standards and Tutor for the current Shorthair Judging Course for FASA. Along with my Daughter Kirsty I have bred Exotics for the last 24 years, I love Tabbies and also Bi Colours. I became a G1 Judge in the 1980s G3 in 1999 and All Breeds in 2007, along with cats I have 3 Daughters, 7 Grandchildren and recently 3 G Grand Daughters, my youngest Grandson Aiden often comes to shows with us and now enjoys being a Junior Exhibitor. Julia Nicholls ~ FASA Julia has been judging for almost 30 years and has judged all over Australia, in New Zealand, Asia and the USA. She is currently involved in training the next generation of judges in South Australia and represents the Feline Association of South Australia at CCCA. Julia has owned Burmese for 30 years and sometimes shows and breeds them. As a vet Julia enjoys difficult cat cases and helping breeders with their problems. She also has a keen interest in animal welfare and has worked for shelters and other welfare organisations. Laurie Westbrook ~ FASA I started breeding and showing cats in 2009, with the start of my Bengal breeding program. I am very proud of my achievements to date, having produced many titled cats ranging from Champion right through to FASA Gold Double Grand Champions and Best in Group winners. My first exports were sent to Sweden in 2017 and I hope to contribute to the worldwide genepool further in I quickly found a love for genetics and use every opportunity I can to further my knowledge. I became a qualified FASA Steward in 2012 after a year of training. I started show management with FASA in saw me become the President of the Festival City Cat Club. I have also been on the FASA Management Committee and Breeds and Standards Sub-committee since I am extremely excited to be into my fourth year of the FASA Judges Course. I am currently a Probationary Group 2 Judge and well into studies in Group 3. While I am a breeder, my passion is for showing. I look forward to meeting new people, learning more about each breed and their standards, and assisting FASA as much as possible along the way. I thoroughly enjoy stewarding and judging. Handling the cats at each show is always fun, and I try at all times to remain professional, approachable and make the ring a positive and happy place for the cats and exhibitors.
