1 Michigan Pet Fund Alliance's Getting to the Goal Conference Exhibitors All About Animals Rescue All About Animals Rescue is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to No More Homeless Pets and the prevention of euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals through affordable spay/neuter, adoption, wellness care and community cat management assistance. Founded in 2005 to help end pet overpopulation, it is the largest high quality, high capacity, no-cost to low-cost spay/neuter provider in Michigan. All Species Kinship All Species Kinship (A.S.K.) provides direct-outreach services to chained dogs, including free spay/neuter and fence builds, as well as operating an injured/orphaned wildlife response unit and formerly farmed bird sanctuary. Alley Cat Allies Alley Cat Allies is the global engine of change for cats. We protect and improve cats lives through our innovative, cutting-edge programs. We are seen around the world as a champion for the humane treatment of all cats. We work toward a world where every cat is valued and protected and every community and shelter has policies and programs to save their lives.
2 Animal Farm Foundation Animal Farm Foundation (AFF) is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to secure equal treatment and opportunity for pit bull dogs through recognizing that all dogs (and people) are individuals. Attorneys for Animals "Connecting Animal Advocates with Animal Law", Attorneys for Animals works within the legal system to recognize animals and protect them as individuals. We combine advocacy, litigation and legislative efforts with education and programs to help animal advocates be more effective. Bark Nation Bark Nation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to ending canine cruelty and saving lives. We investigate, seize, and shelter survivors of dogfighting through our Pitness Protection Program, and provide live outcomes for the animals we serve through our Life After Dogfighting initiative. Though an amazing collaboration with Dog Aide, Bark Nation also provides sterilization, vaccinations, microchips and city licenses to Detroit pets! Best Friends Animal Society The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. We do this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the nation. We believe that by working together we can Save Them All.
3 Cats and Dogs Magazine Cats and Dogs is a free magazine, thanks to advertisers and sponsors, distributed in West Michigan. Its goal is to help find homes for shelter and rescue pets and to celebrate the human/pet relationship. Consultants in Applied Psychology/Linda Harper Dr. Harper is a clinical psychologist who provides workshops and consults to heart-driven people who work for animals. Private and group workshops are designed to help people develop tools to manage burnout, compassion fatigue and grief and loss. EnviroZorb Fear Free Fear Free provides online and in-person education to veterinary professionals, the pet professional community, and pet owners. By closely listening to the needs of the profession and those of pet owners, Fear Free has become one of the single most transformative initiatives in the history of companion animal practice, providing unparalleled education on emotional well-being, enrichment and the reduction of fear, anxiety and stress in pets. Harley's Heroes West MI We are a dedicated group of individuals who kindly educate people ( and a family friendly manner) about puppy mills and their strong link to the pet stores that sell their puppies.
4 HOPE Helping Orphaned Pets through Education HOPE is a nationally designated 501(c)3 that intends to make a big impact on the amount of animals in our shelters. By focusing on education of the public, our goal is to reduce the numbers of animals that shelter staff, rescues and volunteers work so hard to find homes for. Spay/neuter, obedience training, and indiscriminate breeding are just some of the topics and problems where we are striving to make a difference. Humane Society of the United States The Humane Society of the United States is driving transformational change in the U.S. and around the world by combating large-scale cruelties such as puppy mills, animal fighting, factory farming, seal slaughter, horse cruelty, captive hunts and the wildlife trade. We and our affiliates provide hands-on care and services to more than 100,000 animals each year, and we professionalize the field through education and training for local organizations. Kalamazoo Humane Society The Kalamazoo Humane Society is not a sheltering facility, but a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. The goal of this clinic is to make spay/neuter services convenient and affordable, and eliminate the homeless pet population. Handmade dog leashes and collars Leash Up for Rescue
