All other stakes are single course without birdfield. Amateur Gun Dog, Amateur Limited Gun Dog and Hunting Dog Championship are retrieving stakes. Quail and/or chukars released in all stakes. A blank pistol will be fired in the Open Puppy stake. NON-REGULAR HUNTING DOG CHAMPIONSHIP IS OPEN TO VIZSLAS 6 MONTHS AND OLDER JUDGED ON GUN DOG STANDARDS EXCEPT THAT THE DOG MUST BE STEADY ONLY UNTIL THE HANDLER FLUSHES THE BIRD. Horseback handling is permitted in all stakes except Hunting Dog Championship and Amateur Walking Derby Only AKC approved tracking collars permitted. Entry fee does not include horse rental. Follow the brown sign for Indian Springs Ski Area. Follow the veer to the right to Broadfording Road. Take the first left on Blair Valley Road. Go three miles; drive past several farms and houses; Pass the lake and barn on the left. Turn left on gravel road into the trial grounds. 5 General Information Bring Water for Horses and Dogs, as well as People. Camping is permitted. No electrical hook-ups for trailers. ENTRIES Please submit a separate entry for each stake. Only one check is necessary. Complete all information on the entry forms, including your phone number and address. Please make check payable to Conestoga Vizsla Club. HORSES Entry fee does not include horse rental. Horses will be available to rent by the brace for the handlers, scouts, and gallery. Horse rented by the brace must be returned after each brace unless prior arrangements have been made with the wrangler. Priority will be given to the club and to handlers. All rental fees are to be paid directly to the Wrangler. Cash is preferred. FOOD A limited breakfast and lunch menu will be available on the grounds. Our famous judges dinner featuring grilled rib-eyes will be held on the grounds after the days running on Saturday. Please sign up Saturday morning if you plan to attend the dinner. This fall we will have a special event! CVC s own Jack Sharkey will celebrate his 80 th birthday with us. He will provide champagne for all at our dinner. You don t want to miss it!! RAFFLE Join in the fun at our raffle on Saturday after dinner! Clean out those trailers and tack boxes. Something you have two of may be just what someone else is looking for.
