Drawing will be held Tuesday, October at 6:30pm at 7029 S. Dudley St, Littleton CO. This Hunting Test is held under the rules and procedures of the American Kennel Club. 2 All tests open to all AKC Pointing Breeds that are at least 6 months of age and registered with, or granted an ILP by the AKC. Bitches in season are only allowed to run in the last stake of the day on each course. Please contact us for more information. "Makes check payable to "RMVC". Payment must accompany entry. Once an entrant is drawn and braced, it may run as entered, move up to the next test level, or scratch without refund. Refunds will be granted only for bitches in season and injured or sick dogs (may require vet certification); or as deemed an emergency by the event committee. Entrants who complete a title during # may request advancement to the next level for event # to the event secretary within 30 minutes of the test start. COURSES AND BIRDS Senior and Master Hunt Tests will run 30 minutes. Junior Hunt Test will run 15 minutes. Tests will run on a single course with bird field. Quail, Chucker and/or Pheasant will be released in all stakes. Judges and officials only are allowed to use horses. Shotguns with blank shells will not be permitted. Only starter pistols with blank cartridges may be fired by handlers. Participants must wear blaze orange on the senior and master courses. AKC approved tracking collars may be used. A list of approved models can be found at: Galleries are permitted only at the discretion of the hunt test committee and judges when safety permits, are under the control of the marshal, and not permitted in any bird field. PRIZES Standard AKC Rosettes will be awarded to all dogs receiving a qualifying score. FOOD Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner options will be available within Clubhouse for a reasonable fee. Water available for horses & dogs. Please bring water for yourself. Hospital 500 Nebraska Ave., Stratton CO (719) HUNT TEST GROUNDS AND FACILITIES All participants are required to complete a Release of Liability and Waiver Six Shot Hunt Club Hunt upon entrance to the grounds. The release form will be available in the Clubhouse. The Rocky Mountain Vizsla Club, any of its members, or the owners of Six Shot Hunt Club will not be held liable for any damage or injury to participants, their horses, dogs, vehicles, trailers, and any other personal equipment. Dogs are not permitted to be off leash except during the running of their brace. Participant vehicles are permitted only in the designated parking areas. Please pick up after your dogs. Dogs are not permitted in Clubhouse; if special circumstances permit, dogs must be crated at all times. Overnight camping is permitted. Please be sure to fill any holes and leave no tra behind. Please pick up after your dog(s). We are guests at Six Shot Hunt Club; please preserve our area for future use. Thank you so much.
