3 ACCOMMODATIONS Due to Tourist Season, the Kenai Kennel Club, Inc. recommends that you make your reservations NOW for our shows & trials, July 11 (Agility) 12, 13, 14, 2013 ACCOMMODATIONS THAT WILL ACCEPT DOGS SOLDOTNA INN Kenai Spur Hwy, Soldotna BEST WESTERN KING SALMON HOTEL Kenai Spur, Soldotna Motel does not take dogs, only the RV Park and that is a first come, first serve basis. They have 38 spots with sewer, water, electric. DUCK INN K-Beach Rd, Soldotna $ deposit $10 a night pet fee. They only take credit cards and don t actually run the $ until they see how the room is before you leave. HOOLIGANS Sterling Hwy., Soldotna $10.00 a night pet fee, and book soon as they are filling up for July. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON SITE. CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one halfhour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another, provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship class at the show. OBEDIENCE OR RALLY: A dog who has earned a title after entries have closed may be moved to another class in a future trial, provided the transfer request is presented to the Superintendent in writing at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. For the judging of Juniors, the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp breeds. This list may be revised from time to time, and the current list can be found on the AKC website in Judging Operations. A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/Show Secretary prior to the day of the show. AKC approval is not required. Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In all but emergency situations, the exhibitor has no recourse. Violators are subject to a $50 fine, and a bench hearing. The Show Site will be available for set-up after the show rings and superintendent s tent are set up. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! Day Parking is $5.00 per car. Minimal day parking is available for Motor Homes. Showers will be available between 7:00-9:00 pm Friday and Saturday with additional hours in the a.m. on Thursday/Friday. Exact times will be sent with overnight parking passes. We enjoy or Show Site and want to be able to use it for a long time. Please help by following these rules. The Kenai Kennel Club reserves the right to revoke camping & parking privileges. Space is limited at this show and is on a first come, first served basis. Please plan accordingly. Parking may fill prior to the closing date of June 26, There is no electricity available - DO NOT plug extension cords into the building. There may not be water available. Please clean up your parking/grooming area. Failure to do so may result in loss of parking privileges. DO NOT leave dog hair, sawdust, garbage, etc., behind. Keep your area clean. Children must be kept under control. No Parking or driving on the show grounds except Judges, Superintendent, Show Committee & Vendors. Handicapped Parking is available, violators will be towed at their expense. Shelters are for exhibitors immediately entering the rings. There will be no grooming or storing of dogs in the shelters.
