ENTER Online or Fax at ALL Entries MUST be received by closing date: WEDNESDAY, Sept 7th, 9:00pm (PDT) ************************************ The tendering of NSF cheque shall be considered non-payment of entry fees and is punishable by returned cheque. Exhibitors whose charges are declined by the Bank Card Authorization Department will be assessed a service charge of $25.00 for each transaction declined. Telephone entries are not accepted by the Show Secretary. Incomplete entries or entries received without fees, or entries received after the advertised closing date will not be accepted. Attention foreign exhibitors, please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian Funds. If you sent a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please DO NOT make cheques Payable in Canadian Funds or At Par. They will not be cleared by the banks. Thanks to his parents who had a key role in his love for dogs and other animals. Today he is a Dr. of Veterinary medicine and successful cynologyst. Currently a PhD student on Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Belgrade. Working and staging on Surgery, Orthopedic and Ophthalmology department and on production, fertility and artificial insemination. Hi family has been breeding dogs for over 40 years especially German Shepherds. In 2006 he became a national judge. In 2012 he became an international judge and since then has judged in more than 20 countries world wide. Dr. Eugenio Aguilo Gonzalez Born in 1951 and has raised dogs since the age of 13. In 1976 he graduated as a Veterinarian Dr. and Cattle Sciences at the University of Chile with a specialization in Minor Clinic. He exerted intensely his profession until 1989 and started to work as a university professor beside of exerted the Presidency of the Society of Veterinarian Medicine of Chile and the General Secretary of the Chilean Veterinarian Doctor s School. While he was exerting as a veterinarian he lead several TV shows oriented to the pets on the main channels of the open TV and in 1980 he founded the magazine Perros y Caballos (dogs and horses) later called Perros y Cachorros (dogs and puppies). He has been politically active in local government. He has a degree in Public Gestion from the University of Madrid and has also studied in Argentina, Canada and Germany. In 2003 he earned his degree in Military Science from the University of Chile and the War Academy of the Chilean Army. Currently he is working as a Political Analyst, Consultant and Advisor of some parliamentarians and city mayors. He raises Boxers and earned his Specialty Judge in 1972 and in 1981 an Official Judge for all breeds. He has judged in over 20 countries world wide and many world-wide shows including Mexico 1984, Argentina 1993 nd 2005, Brazil 2004, the Americans and the Caribbean in Chile in 2003 and 2009 and in Costa Rice in 2014 and BIS FCI section in Chile 2015, Top Dog of Australian un 2008, BIS in Zaragoza in He has help many positions in the canine activity of president and is currently a member of the Directory of the Chilean Kennel Club as vice-president and President of Judge Council. He has participated in several world-wide assemblies of the FCI, mostly the SICASUD/SICALAM and the section Americans and the Caribbean.

7 Daniel Ceres Rubios Born in Uruguay and resident in Florianópolis-Brazil, since 1978 where he develops his profession of architect. From this date, he founded the Performance Kennel specializing in English Cocker Spaniel, breed that he raises until nowadays. He also raised and exhibited Boxer, Dachshund and Berneses Mountain Dog. Over the years raised several national and international champions and participated in several activities and positions. Until the present date, he has judged Dog Shows in Argentina, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, México, Uruguay, Venezuela and in several cities of Brazil. 8 CONFORMATION CLASSES The following Regular CKC Classes (divided by sex) will be offered: JUNIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 6 months of age and under 9 months of age on the day of the show SENIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 9 months of age and under 12 months of age on the day of the show 12 to 18 MONTH CLASS- This class shall be for any dog 12 months but under 18 months of age on the day of the show CANADIAN BRED CLASS - This class shall be for any dog born in Canada. (Champions of any country excluded) BRED BY EXHIBITOR CLASS - This class shall be for any dog owned and handled in the ring by owner/breeder. The handler MUST be the owner/co- owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog at the class level, but need not handle the dog for further awards OPEN CLASS - This class shall be for all dogs SPECIALS ONLY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog that has a recorded CKC Registration or Event Registration Number and has attained the required points for Championship status. Note: A Listed dog may be moved to the Specials Only Class after the closing of entries, provided the CKC Individual or Event Registration Number was received prior to the first day of the show. The request to move a class dog to the Specials Only Class MUST be received by the Show Secretary ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF THE SHOW ON THE DAY CONCERNED. Listing Fees WILL NOT be refunded NON-REGULAR CLASSES BABY PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 3 months of age and under 6 months of age on the day of the show. The award for this class are: Best Baby Male, Best Baby Female, Best Baby Puppy in Breed, Best Baby Puppy in Group BRACE This class is for 2 dogs of the same breed (not necessarily the same sex). A brace must be handled by one person on one lead. VETERANS CLASS - This class is for dogs 7 years of age and over on the day of the show. Dogs entered in these classes may be spayed or neutered. SEXUALLY ALTERED CLASS This class is for dogs which have been spayed or neutered. EXHIBITION ONLY - All dogs entered in this class shall be listed in the catalogue with the same particulars as dogs entered in regular competition. Dogs entered in this class MAY NOT COMPETE in any Regular class but may enter and compete in Non-Regular classes and/or Parades ONLY

9 OBEDIENCE CLASSES: No dog may be entered in both Novice A and Novice B, Open A and Open B at the same trial. In determining class eligibility, if a dog shall have won a particular title before being entered or moved up, the handler shall have been notified by at least 2 different judges that the dog has won 3 qualifying scores for the required title. (However, a dog may continue to be exhibited for 60 days in a class after winning a particular title.) Dogs fulfilling the requirements for a title may be moved to the next level of competition if the schedule permits. The transfer must be on the appropriate move-up form and submitted to the show secretary at least 15 minutes before the start of the class. PRE-NOVICE - The Pre-Novice class is an elective class and earning the title is not a requirement to enter Novice classes. The Pre-Novice class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has not earned the title of P.C.D. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. The same handler must handle each dog in all 5 exercises unless he has 2 or more dogs entered. In such cases, he must have an additional handler for each extra dog when they are judged together in the group exercise. Only dogs that have not earned the title of C.D. may enter the Pre-Novice class. NOVICE A - The Novice A class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has not earned the title of C.D. Only one dog per handler is allowed in this class, and that person must handle the dog in all exercises. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner or a member of their immediate families. No person who has trained or exhibited a dog that earned a C.D.X. title shall be allowed to handle a dog in this class. NOVICE B - The Novice B class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has not earned the title of C.D. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. The owner or any other person may handle a dog in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. The same handler must handle each dog in all 6 exercises unless he has 2 or more dogs entered. In such cases, he must have an additional handler for each extra dog when they are judged together in the group exercises. NOVICE C - The Novice C class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the title C.D. or any higher obedience titles. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. The same handler must handle each dog in all 6 exercises unless he has 2 or more dog entered. In such cases, he must have an additional handler for each extra dog when they are judged together in the group exercises. Dogs may compete in Novice C indefinitely. Scores earned by dogs in the Novice C class are not eligible for High In Trial and do not qualify a dog for any title. Dogs may be entered in the Novice C class in addition to any other official or unofficial classes for which they are eligible.

10 NOVICE INTERMEDIATE - The Novice Intermediate class is an elective class and earning title is not a requirement to enter the Open classes. The Novice Intermediate class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned a C.D. or any higher obedience trial titles. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A person may enter more than one dog in this class The same handler must handle the dog in all 6 exercises. Dogs may compete in the Novice Intermediate class indefinitely. Scores earned by dogs competing in this class are not eligible for High in Trial. Dogs may be entered in the Novice Intermediate class in addition to any other official or unofficial classes for which they are eligible. OPEN A - The Open A class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D. but has not earned the title of C.D.X. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner or member of their immediate families. Only one dog per handler is allowed in this class, and that person must handle the dog in all exercises. Any person who has trained or exhibited a dog that has earned a U.D. title may not handle a dog in this class. OPEN B - The Open B class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D. Dogs which have earned the title of C.D.X. or any higher titles may enter in the Open B class. A dog may also be entered in the Utility Class in the same trial. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A person may enter or handle more than one dog in this class. The same handler must handle each dog in all 7 exercises unless he has 2 or more dogs entered. In such cases, he must have an additional handler for each extra dog when they are judged together in the group exercises. Prior to the start of judging, the judge will choose which of the six numbered routines is to be performed. This choice will not be disclosed to the exhibitors until it is posted at a ring side at least 30 minutes before the start of the class. In future assignments, judges are required to alternate the six routines so that each set will be used approximately he same number of times. UTILITY A - The Utility A class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D.X. but has not earned the title of U.D. Any person who has trained or exhibited a dog that has earned a M.O.T.Ch. title may not handle dogs in this class. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner or member of their immediate families. Owners may enter more than one dog in this class. The same person must handle the dog in all exercises. UTILITY B - The Utility B class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D.X. or U.D. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. Owners may enter more than one dog in this class. The same person must handle the dog in all exercises. Prior to the start of judging, the judge will choose which of the six numbered routines will be performed. 11 RALLY CLASSES: No dog may be entered in both Advanced A and Advanced B at same trial or Excellent A and Excellent B at same trial. RALLY NOVICE A - Dogs competing in this class may not have won a CKC Rally Novice (R.N.) title or any CKC Novice Obedience title. No handler who has exhibited a dog through its CKC Companion Dog Excellent (C.D.X.) title or instructed dog training classes shall be eligible to enter this class. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner, or member of their immediate families. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. A dog may continue to compete in this class after the owner has been notified by at least 2 different judges that the dog has won 3 qualifying scores in this class. However a dog may not be entered or exhibited in this class in any rally trial after the owner has received official notification form the CKC that the dog has won the title. RALLY NOVICE B - Any dog may compete in this class until a qualifying score in the Rally Advanced class is earned. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged on leash, and all dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. RALLY INTERMEDIATE - This class shall be for dogs that have earned the R.N. title. A dog completing the R.I. or any other obedience or rally titles may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dog in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. RALLY ADVANCED A - This class shall be for dogs that have won the Rally Novice (R.N.) title but have not won the Rally Advanced (R.A.) title or any CKC Novice Obedience title. No handler who has exhibited a dog through its CKC Companion Dog Excellent (C.D.X.) title or instructed dog training classes shall be eligible to enter this class. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner, or a member of their immediate families. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. A dog may continue to compete in this class after the owner has been notified by at least 2 different judges that the dog has won 3 qualifying scores in this class. However a dog may not be entered or exhibited in this class in any rally trial after the owner has received official notification from the CKC that the dog has won the title. RALLY ADVANCED B - This class will be for dogs that have won the Rally Novice (R.N.) title. A dog completing the Rally Advanced (R.A.) title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged off leash. All dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. RALLY EXCELLENT A - This class shall be for dogs that have won the Rally Advanced (R.A.) title, but have not won the Rally Excellent (R.E.) title or any CKC Novice Obedience title. No handler who has exhibited a dog through its CKC Companion Dog Excellent (C.D.X.) title or instructed dog training classes shall be eligible to enter this class. The handler of any dog in this case must be the owner, the co-owner, or a member of their immediate families. A person may enter more than one dog in this class, A dog may continue to compete in this class after the owner has been notified by at least 2 different judges that the dog has won 3 qualifying scores in this class.however, a dog may not be entered or exhibited in this class in any rally trial after the owner has received official notification from the CKC that the dog has won the title. RALLY EXCELLENT B - This class will be for dogs that have won the Rally Advanced (R.A.) title. A dog completing the Rally Excellent (R.E.) title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class, A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged off leash except the Honor Exercise. All dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash.

Pee Wees do not compete for best overall. Dogs handled by the juniors must be entered in a Regular Conformation class or in Exhibition Only at this group specialty. Dogs do not need to be owned by the junior. Pee Wees - participation ribbon Best Overall Handler rosette 1 st to 4 th in each class rosette Please note that effective January 1, 2016, in accordance with Section of the Junior Handling Rules & Regulations, Junior Handlers will be required to apply to CKC Head Office for a Junior Handling Number. Section Junior Handler with the exception of Pee Wees, must apply to CKC Head Office on the appropriate form for a Junior Handling Number within 30 days of competing in their first Junior Handling event. This Junior Handling Number will be used by the Junior Handler for the duration of their Junior Handling career. If a Junior Handling number is not obtained, Junior Handling points earned will not be tracked.

18 GENERAL RULES GOVERNING THESE SHOWS It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to be familiar with the rules pertaining to the event in which they are competing. Copies of the Conformation Rule book are available from: The CKC, Ronson Dr., Etobicoke, ON M9W 5Z9 or online at 1. The Club reserves the right to remove any person from the show. The Show Superintendent shall have full control of the above shows and trials, which will be governed by CKC rules. 2. Any dog excused by the Show Superintendent or the Show Veterinarian for any reason shall not, after being excused, compete in any class for any award for the balance of the show. 3. The show committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of accident, or other misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors or patrons. 4. A Judge or any person participating in any capacity at a Dog Show held under CKC Rules shall not be subjected to any indignity of any kind during the progress of the show and it shall be the duty and obligation of the Club holding the show to see that this rule is effectively carried out. The Show Superintendent shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of the rules, and the Discipline Committee shall have the power to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this rule has been violated. 5. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the conduct or actions of their animals while they are on the show grounds. 6. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The Club will not be responsible for and is not obligated to provide any service for notifying owners or agents of breed or class judging. No ring shall be held up waiting for exhibitors or handlers. Exhibitors & Handlers with more than one dog shall have substitute handlers available so the judging will not be delayed. All start times are PACIFIC DAYLIGHT TIME. 7. The owner of a dog entered in these shows is entirely responsible for any error in entering his/her dog, regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. 8. A dog once disqualified for any reason at a championship show held under these rules cannot again be shown at a show held under these rules until the dog has been examined by an official committee appointed by the CKC and the committee finds the dog is free from the condition which prompted the disqualification. Application for reinstatement must be accompanied by a fee of $50.00 plus GST which shall be forfeited to the CKC if the examining committee is satisfied that the dog should remain disqualified. All awards earned at a dog show in violation of this rule shall be canceled by the CKC and the owner of the dog is subject to disciplinary action. 9. Exhibitors and handlers will be responsible for their dogs and for their equipment left at the Show Grounds. 10. For the benefit of the health of animals and the pleasure of the exhibitors and spectators we insist upon keeping our grounds and buildings as clean as possible. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please exercise your dog BEFORE taking it to the Judging ring. Dogs are to be exercised in the designated areas only, not in the vicinity of the ring areas. 11. No entry fee will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, and Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club. 12. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

19 HERITAGE PARK FIRE SAFETY RULES: Extension cords, if laid across an aisle must be taped down properly. Aisles must be kept open at all times to allow everyone easy and speedy exit in case of emergency. All designate FIRE LANES must be kept clear at all times or vehicles will be towed at owner s expense. ADDITIONAL CLUB RULES: Breeds cannot be judged out of order. Exhibitors will be responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Violators will be asked to leave the show grounds. Crates will be allowed at ringside during the judging of your specific breed only and must be removed immediately after. No Exceptions. Dogs are not allowed in washrooms. The welfare of an exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly undertood that you will exercise control and restraint over the children in your care on the days of these shows. The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen property from exhibitors or venders/concessions. The Club will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of accident or misfortune to either dogs, exhibitors, spectators or vendors. Delays waiting for dogs are not possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their dogs conflict. The club reserves the right of restricting exhibitors grooming space. Plastic sheeting must be under al expens. Any tape used in the building has to be easily removable and must be removed after the show is competed. Colored tape is not allowed. You must leave your setup in the same clean condition you found it in when you first arrived at the show. Unless permission is granted in writing by the Mount Cheam Canine Association, there will not be any handling classes operated or offered by anyone in any part of the Heritage Park facility at any time. Power bars are not permitted as they will blow fuses. No liquid waste is to be disposed of in garbage cans.

20 CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB SCHEDULE OF CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SECTION 2. The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: (*Includes the dog awarded Winners.) Dogs Competing* to 5 6 to 9 10 to or more Points Allocated* To determine the number of championship points earned by a dog awarded Winners, total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the schedule set forth above. A dog that is disqualified, dismissed, excused or ordered from the ring by the judge shall not be included in the calculation for championship points. Further section {C} has been added and states the dog must: have earned at least one 2 point win either at the breed level or group level. The system provides for additional points if a dog awarded winners also places in the Group as listed here under. In no case may a dog earn more than five (5) points at a single show. To earn a Canadian Championship, a dog must earn at least ten championship points under at least three different judges; and be individually registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, or have a CKC Event Registration Number (ERN).

21 AGREEMENT I (we) acknowledge that I (we), all exhibitors, handlers and patrons, know and abide by the CKC Dog Show Rules, and that I am (we are) familiar with their content. I (we) agree that the Club holding this show has the right to refuse this entry for cause, which the Club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the Show and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the Mount Cheam Canine Association, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of a dog while in or upon the show premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of a dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the Club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this show, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused and whether or not the same may have been caused and whether or not the same may have alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other person.
