16 17. Exemplary response I don t think I would like going on a glacier hike. The author talks about how high they have to climb just to get to the glacier 3000 feet! and I don t like heights. The author also talks about the big cracks in the ice, the crevasses. It seems like it would be really easy to fall into one of these. Remember, I don t like heights. While I think being on a big sheet of ice in the summertime would be really interesting, I don t want to have to hike up that high or risk falling that far to get to the ice. I ll just spend my summers down here on the solid ground. Note: Student may provide a suitable "yes" response.
