2 Entries Limited to 700 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Judges Limited to a Maximum of 350 Runs Per Day Entries Accepted On A First Received Basis Overnight deliveries must have signature requirements waived CATERING We do not currently have a catering service but will let you know in the final confirmation letter if that changes. The Trial site is close to several restaurants. OBSTACLES Obstacles will conform to the current requirements of the Agility Regulations. All jumps are displaceable. Weave Poles mandatory in all Standard and JWW Classes. INSTRUCTIONS TO ENTER VIA AKC's ONLINE ENTRY SERVICES: Go to the AKC Agility Online Entry Services home page at and follow the instructions there to use your My AKC account to enter this event online. During the first 48 hours after opening, the initial limit of entries designated as either online or paper will be as follows: 200 online entries and the remaining will be paper entries each day. If either form of entry (paper or online) has not filled at the end of the 48 hour time period, the club reserves the right to decrease or increase either one accordingly. There will not be an online wait-list. Those who do not get in with an online entry are encouraged to send a paper copy to ensure a wait-listed entry. WAIT LIST After the closing date of May 22, 2019, FRAAD is offering a wait list to fill openings created by entries withdrawn after closing, only if the trial exceeds entry limits as stated above. A maximum of 25 entries will be placed on the wait list. All entries, including wait listed entries, must be received by the trial secretary prior to closing. Any entries withdrawn prior to Friday, May 31, :00 PM will be replaced by a wait listed entry when available. A full refund will be given for withdrawn entries when a wait listed entry is available to replace the withdrawn entry. Any wait listed entry that does not move off the wait list into the trial by Friday, May 31, 2019 will receive a full refund. SITE AVAILABILITY Trial site hours 7:00 am to 30 minutes following conclusion of last class each trial day There will be no public set-up prior to 7:00 am Friday morning. There will not be overnight security and the building will be locked at the conclusion of the trial each night. CRATING Crating will be restricted to designated areas. The use of ex-pens may be restricted to use by multiple dogs. The show site committee reserves the right to alter the crating arrangements for space purposes. Clean Plastic tarps are required underneath mats. Evaporative Coolers may be present please consider their location when choosing a space as they are loud, cool, windy, and must remain in place. COUNTY LEASH LAWS WILL BE ENFORCED. DOGS MUST BE ON LEAD OR CONFINED TO A CRATE OR EXERCISE PEN AT ALL TIMES, EXCEPT WHEN COMPETING, OR WITHIN THE WARM-UP RING AREA. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG! JUMP HEIGHT CARDS Effective January 1, 2010, jump height cards (including copies) do not have to be submitted to the trial secretary nor are jump height cards required to be shown during check-in. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor s responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. Please mark the appropriate box on the entry form that specifies whether your dog has a Permanent, Temporary height card or needs to be measured. All Owners are responsible for marking the appropriate box. All dogs competing in agility must possess an official AKC Jump Height Card. An official AKC Jump Height Card is defined as either a permanent jump height card, a valid temporary jump height form, copies of two different measuring forms (placing the dog in the same height class) dated on or after the dog s second birthday, or copies of three different measuring forms (two of which place the dog in the same height class) dated on or after the dog s second birthday. ALL DOGS that do not have a valid Jump Height Card must be measured by a judge of record for that trial and will only be effective for that set of trials. If an AKC Field Representative or a Volunteer Measuring Official (VMO) is present, ALL DOGS that have not been issued a permanent Jump Height Card or temporary jump height (yellow) form must be measured for a Jump Height Card regardless of the jump height entered. If a dog is measured by an AKC Field Representative or Volunteer Measuring Official (VMO) and is now eligible to jump in a lower height class, the measurement is effective immediately for any future runs. COURSE FAMILIARIZATION and WARM UPS Handlers in all classes are permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of the class. A walk-through period will be held prior to each class, following the Judge s Briefing. The walkthrough is restricted to handlers entered in that class. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump, shall be provided for all exhibitors. 3 VENDORS Limited vendor space will be available at this trial. Please contact Mardee Kayser at or about availability. RV SITES Limited dry camping spaces only will be available at this trial. Please contact Meg Armstrong at about availability. Do not contact the parks facility directly. HEIGHT DIVISIONS Owners are responsible for entering the proper height division. All height divisions will be offered in the Standard, Jumpers with Weaves, and FAST classes. Dogs in Preferred classes MUST jump their measured height and may not jump in a higher height or any qualifying scores or placements will be disallowed. A dog that is measured down is eligible to jump in a lower height class, the measurement is effective immediately for any future runs. This does not apply to a challenge measurement for a permanent jump height card. Effective, February 1, 2017, If a VMO or Field Representative at a trial measures a dog into a height other than what they entered, the entry may be changed from Regular to Preferred or from Preferred to Regular, as long as the dog has not run any classes that day. If the dog has already run, the change may be made for the next trial day(s). None will be mailed. REGULAR CLASSES Refer to Regulations for Agility Trials Chapter 2 Section 1 for eligibility. TIME 2 BEAT & PREMIER CLASSES Regular or Preferred - Open to ALL dogs (no separate levels). PREFERRED CLASSES The Preferred Classes are open to any dog eligible to enter an agility trial as defined in Chapter 1, Section 3. The owner may choose to enter the Preferred Classes in lieu of entering the Regular Classes. The dog must be entered only in Regular Classes or only in Preferred Classes, with no crossover between them allowed at the same set of trials. Owners are allowed to switch back and forth between Regular and Preferred Classes, but not at the same set of trials. The same Regulations apply as those described for the Regular titling classes (see above) (EXCEPT in Novice, where no A& B divisions exist). All dogs entering the Preferred classes for the first time must enter the Novice level in both the Standard Preferred class, the Jumpers With Weaves Preferred class, and the FAST Preferred Class unless they are crossing over from the Regular classes. If the dog is crossing over from the Regular classes to the Preferred classes, they may be entered at the level the dog is eligible to compete at in the Regular classes. PREMIER CLASSES Refer to Regulations for Agility Trials Chapter 11 Section 1 for complete Premier details Section 1. These optional titling classes are designed to challenge dogs and handlers at an increased speed and skill level above those set for the Master level classes. Handlers/dogs will need to negotiate courses that require varied approach angles, spacing, and obstacle discriminations to be successful in these classes. These classes are offered as separate titling tracks and are not part of the MACH/PACH Championships. Section 2. Eligibility. All dogs at any level are eligible to enter Premier Standard Regular or Premier Standard Preferred. All dogs at any level are eligible to enter Premier Jumpers with Weaves Regular or Premier Jumpers with Weaves Preferred. Dogs with Regular titles may crossover to the Premier Preferred level as noted above. CHANGE OF ENTRY Chapter 1. Section 21. In addition to Move-ups as described in Chapter 1, Section 20 entries may also be changed as noted in this section. A dog which has been entered in a Novice A class for which it is not eligible to be entered in due to class restrictions on the dog or handler may be moved to the Novice B class under the following conditions: The request for the move must be in writing and presented to the superintendent or trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. The request must state the reason and justification for the move from a Novice A class to the Novice B class. After the close of entries a dog may be moved down in their class level (i.e., Master to Excellent). The request for the move to the class for which the dog is eligible must be in writing and submitted to the superintendent or trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. If a VMO or Field Representative at a trial measures a dog into a height other than what they entered, the entry may be changed from Regular to Preferred or from Preferred to Regular, as long as the dog has not run any classes that day. If the dog has already run, the change may be made for the next trial day(s). The exhibitor must provide the Trial Secretary the AKC Agility Measurement Form when requesting the class change.

4 PARKING REGULATIONS Exhibitors are governed by any rules or regulations of civil authorities and building and parking regulations. Vehicles parked contrary to regulations will be subject to towing at owner s expense. Club officials may require that vehicles or equipment be rearranged to accommodate additional vehicles. Area around vehicles MUST be kept clean at all times. All vehicles will be parked at owner s risk. Foothills Park & Recreation District s Foothills Sports Arena and Front Range Agility Association of Denver will not be responsible for loss by burglary, fire, or any other cause whatsoever to the vehicle or its contents. Please adhere to all area parking regulations. ROUTES TO THE TRIAL Foothills Sports Schaefer Athletic Complex Located at the south east corner of Kipling and Hampden. From the intersection of HWY285/Hampden and Kipling, go south. Take the first left at the light, beyond the frontage road and the sports fields. The road winds past the mini-golf to the facility on the hill. AREA ACCOMMODATIONS Please check with Hotels for current information regarding fees and pet policies. You are REQUIRED to clean up after your dog at all of these motels. All dogs should be aired on lead. DO NOT leave dogs unattended inside motel rooms. Please crate your dogs while in motel rooms. The continued use of these motels for all Dog Sports is in your hands. PLEASE do not damage any motel rooms or their surrounding areas. Your cooperation will ensure the future availability of the area motels. Failure to comply with these simple courtesies are grounds for a show committee review, which can result in suspension of AKC privileges and prohibit participation in all future FRAAD events. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS This trial will be conducted in accordance with the Rules for Agility Trials. Dogs qualifying at this titling event, receive credit toward their title. A recording fee is included with entry fees. Fees must accompany entries. ELIGIBILITY: This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP), an AKC Canine Partners listing number, or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds are eligible to participate. Dogs with a Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) or an AKC Canine Partners listing number must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Wherever the word dog is used in these regulations it includes both sexes. Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind shall not be eligible, and neither are bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. Puppies under six months of age are strictly prohibited from the trial grounds. ENTRIES AND REFUNDS: Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate and legible information on their signed entry forms. Entries are taken on a first received basis. A returned check will invalidate an entry and a $30.00 service fee will be charged regardless of circumstances. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis for all FRAAD events. Telephoned, Faxed, or unsigned entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on official AKC entry forms and photocopies of entry forms without the agreement and rules on the same page as the official AKC entry form are not acceptable. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions to its acceptance. Entries sent via express mail service, must be indicated NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, altered, or substituted after the entries have closed except as provided for in chapter 14, section 6 of the Dog Show Rules. Changes, additions, or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or prior to the close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. There is no refund for duplicate entries. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if the entry has been processed, no refund will be made. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. Overpayment of entries $5 and under will not be refunded. Bitches in season are not permitted at the trial. Entry fees for bitches who come into season before these trials take place will be refunded provided the Trial Secretary receives notice in writing or through 30 minutes prior to the start of judging. A $5 per day handling/recording fee will be withheld for entries withdrawn due to a bitch being reported in season. Withdrawals due to injury or illness of dog after the closing dates are eligible for a 50% voucher for future entry, provided a veterinarian's letter is provided within one week of the trial. In such instances the secretary MUST be notified by letter or , no later than Thursday, June 6th at 8:00 am. False reports warrant refusal of entries at future FRAAD trials. Any other withdrawals after the closing date will not be eligible for refund. No entry fees will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, violent acts of nature, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. SAFETY, BEHAVIOR, LIABILITY: FRAAD may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other cause, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against FRAAD or any official thereof. Front Range Agility Association of Denver (FRAAD), their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or their dogs, or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to guests and/or children. Please, no baby strollers on the trial grounds. Safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport and that their dogs are familiar with and are able to perform all of the obstacles safely. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or the designated warm-up area. It is expressly understood that the exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dog(s), guest(s), and children. Any exhibitor whose dog(s), guest(s), and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of fees paid will be made. All regulations governing the use of this facility, and all regulations and decisions of the trial committee at this trial will be strictly enforced, including and not limited to the recorded information of this premium list. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. They will adhere as closely as possible to the judging schedule. The owners or handlers of each dog are solely responsible for being ready at ringside when the class is to be judged. The trial giving club and the Trial Secretary have no obligation or responsibility for providing service runners or public address system for the purposes of locating or calling dogs that are not brought to the ringside when required. For exhibitors coming from out of state, please remember you are coming to a higher altitude, which can affect health.

5 FRONT RANGE AGILITY ASSOCIATION OF DENVER AGILITY TRIAL MOVE-UP FORM From Chapter 1, Section 20: Move-Up entries will be accepted for dogs that have completed a title after the closing date of 6:00 pm May 22, notification of move ups is acceptable, with return receipt verification from the secretary. Either Move Up forms or s must be completed and delivered to the Trial Secretary prior to 6 pm, June 3, Move-up entries for Saturday or Sunday must be delivered to the Trial Secretary within 30 minutes of the conclusion of judging of the class they are moving up from. Dogs so moved up will run at the end of the running order. Move-ups can only be accepted if judging limits are not exceeded. Entry move-up valid only if the dog was already entered in the Event indicated and only if approved by the Trial Secretary. After the close of entries a dog may be moved down in their class level (ie, Master to Excellent). The request for the move to the class for which the dog is eligible must be in writing and submitted to the superintendent or trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of The American Kennel Club in effect at the time of this event, and any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list of this event and entry form and any decision made in accord with them. I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. I (we) certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other person. INSTRUCTIONS Handlers whose dogs measure into the 8 through 20 regular jump height divisions may opt to enter in a higher or 24-choice height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs who measure into the 24 regular jump height division may not enter 24-choice. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division. All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor s responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.
