2 Transportation out of Oroville <** AS OF 9:20AM 7/14-People can find B-Line buses to get out of Oroville at this location: Nazarene Church 2238 Monte Vista. B-Line is sending buses on demand when needed today**> <**Service will run as needed through this evening- do not assume it will end at 6:30pm as last night**> 211 call specialists: if you have a caller who needs bus out of Oroville, direct them to the Nazarene Church. Ask if they are ambulatory- if yes, go to Nazarene, if NO, they should call and press #1 for paratransit pickup. If they have a service animal it has to be in a carrier. Find out the # of people going to Nazarene that need a ride and what time they are going to Nazarene. Try to confirm that they are actually going to be there (B-Line has sent buses for people who are supposedly there only to find no one when they arrive.) 211 Specialists: Then call B-Line dispatch at and give them the info. They will send bus. Bus will take them to the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico (Red Cross evacuation center). No regular B-Line bus route service in Oroville 2/13. B-LINE ROUTE SERVICE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED AS OF 2/13 BUT B-Line will be operating for emergency transportation as needed from Nazarene Church. Disabled people still in Oroville needing Paratransit service on 2/14 to travel out of Oroville can call and press #1 to reach dispatch. Destination in Chico If people cannot get to the pick up location or reach paratransit, they should call Butte Diaper Bank - if callers are evacuees and need diapers- no need to fill out online form- callers call Diaper Bank directly at and say that you are an evacuee MEDICAL NEEDS AND MEDICATION: People with medical and medication needs- Callers needing non-emergency medical care: Medical staff and social workers are on site at Silver Dollar Fairgrounds and Neighborhood Church in Chico for triage If caller is at another shelter, they should coordinate with that shelter operator to contact Silver Dollar Fairgrounds or Neighborhood Church and make arrangements for transporting for medical needs/care If the caller is an evacuee at a shelter or in the community and needs help getting medical care coordinated, get their name and phone number, write down their medical need and staff only can call the Enloe command center and ask for Tracy Weeber. 5 Road closures follow: ROAD CLOSURES MAP HWY 70 AND HWY 99 SOUTHBOUND TO OROVILLE FROM CHICO Motorists traveling south from the Chico area should be advised of several road closures on main highways. HWY 99 is closed from Durham-Pentz Road to south of Yuba City. HWY 70 is closed from HWY 149 to south of Yuba City. All other roadways below the Oroville Spillway elevation in Oroville, Thermalito, Biggs, and Gridley south to the Butte County line are closed. Motorists traveling south from the Chico area for commute should take HWY 32 to I5 south. Avoid roadways west of Chico typically used to access I5 south as they are closed due to flooding including Sacramento Avenue, River Road, Ord Ferry road, Aguas Frias Road, and 7 Mile Lane. Please leave extra time for commuting. 16 Mail Deliveries- Interrupted Service (USPS Website) Service disruption alerts Last updated Feb. 14, 2017, 7 a.m. ET California Sacramento Mandatory evacuations of nearly 200,000 residents have been imposed in eight California counties after a hole in an emergency spillway at the Oroville Dam threatened to flood the surrounding area. These evacuations are impacting a number of post offices. We have delivery issues in the area due to the evacuations said Ashleigh Rodriguez, Manager of Post Office Operations for Sacramento, CA. But we are making every attempt to get mail delivered where conditions are safe.
