The stone has an interesting history in that the only known source is found on the West Australian and Northern Territory border. Geologists have placed its age at 1200 million years. Despite a number of years investigation they are unable to arrive at a valid explanation for its unique formation. Analysis of samples has disclosed an extraordinary number and range of elements which have created its unique and beautiful character. The natural fault lines apparent in some specimens have occurred when the rock layers have fractured under freak geological conditions, and moved out of alignment.

Thursday Obedience 6.30 to 6.45pm Friday RallyO 3.30 to 3.45pm for RallyO followed by Jumping Saturday Agility 3.30pm to 3.45pm Bitches in oestrum are not permitted in the precincts of a Trial * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Every care is taken in the preparation of a catalogue, however it is the responsibility of exhibitors to ensure that exhibit details are correct. Errors and/or omissions must be reported to the Show or Trial Manager PRIOR to commencement of judging. Exhibitors are required to remain until the completion of judging each day and until after the presentation of prizes on Saturday. Any exhibitor who is unable to observe this timing must arrange for a handler to remain with their dog/s. The owner of any exhibit, which is required to return for further judging, may apply for a pass. This exhibition is conducted under the Rules and Regulations of the North Australian Canine Association (NACA) Inc and a copy of the rules is available from the Show Manager. All Northern Territory owners, exhibitors and handlers must be financial members of DogsNT. EXHIBITORS AND DOGS PARTICIPATING AT AN EXHIBITION DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. ANKC Challenge, Best of Breed, Neuter and Best Neuter of Breed Certificates are offered at this Exhibition, one (1) Challenge Certificate and one (1) Neuter Certificate for each sex of every Breed and one (1) Best of Breed Certificate replacing the Challenge Certificate for the Best of Breed winner and one (1) Best Neuter of Breed Certificate replacing the Neuter Certificate for the Best Neuter of Breed winner. These certificates will be awarded at the discretion of the judge. Please do not leave the assembly area until the judging of your group is completed. Judging will be not be held up for exhibitors or exhibits that are absent when required. During General Specials judging, if you are required, make sure you are within the confines of the assembly area you will be called three (3) times only. Failure to be there MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF AWARDS ALREADY RECEIVED. If you are unsure whether you are required for General Specials judging please check with the Show or Trial Manager. If you must leave the show before final judging please advise the Show or Trial Manager.
