1 Lakehead Kennel Club & Specialties July 27-29, 2018 Judging Schedule and General Information The schedule was prepared as quickly as possible please allow for errors. ** All times listed are Eastern DAYLIGHT Time** Building Hours & Set-Up Times: The show building will be open for set-up 6 pm to 10 pm on Thursday, July 26th. NO EARLY BIRDS PLEASE! The building will be open at 8:00 am on Friday; 6:30am on Saturday; 7:00 am on Sunday The building will close at 10:00 pm each night.and 2 hours after BIS on Sunday. Please Note NO dogs past the bleachers, or behind the boards. Exercise-Pens: Space is limited and Exercise-Pens will be allowed in reserved spaces only. Power: Limited power in the Unreserved grooming areas is available at a cost of $10/exhibitor. See Show Super, GARY if you need power. Kitchen appliances may NOT be plugged in!!!! They blow the breakers!!!! Canteen: We have been able to get a food truck for the weekend. Ma & Paw s Chuckwagon will be on site all weekend. We will have bottled water available and coffee in the morning Arm Bands: Pick up all armbands at the Show Secretary s desk. The LKC armband is for all 3 days. There are separate armbands for the Brittany Spaniel Club of Canada National Specialty. Non-Smoking Venue: This is a non-smoking venue. There will be an ash-can outside the big doors. Please don t leave cigarette butts on the ground.burned paws hurt!!!! Attention U.S. Exhibitors: A Passport, or specially enhanced driver s license is required to get here and back home! A current Rabies certificate is required for each dog Ramps & Tables: A ramp will be available should a judge require one. CKC Rules: At the discretion of the judge, designated ramp breeds (See Appendix H List of Breeds that may be judged on a ramp) may be examined on the ground or on a ramp. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner on the ramp or on the ground. Breeds not designated as either table or ramp breeds are customarily examined on the ground. At the discretion of the judge, ramps may be used to judge any breed. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner. ********************************************************** Junior Handling at the All-Breed Show Application forms (1 each day) available at the Show Secretary s Desk Sign up at Show Secretary s desk ½ hour before start of competition. Order Of Judging: Sr Nov; Sr Open; Interm Nov; Interm Open; Jr Nov; Jr Open; Pee Wee; Best Overall Friday 11 am Ring 2 Saturday: 4 pm Ring 2 Sunday: 8:30 am Ring 2 Winners of the Extravaganza will be announced prior to BIS on Sunday. Zone 4B Junior Handling Finals will be held Saturday July 28 th starting at 11:30 am There will be a break so everyone can Cheer on the Zone 4B Finalists!!!! All Shows will stop while the Zones are being judged!! This is a Self-Cleaning Show! If your dog messes in the ring, the ring steward will be happy to hold your dog, while YOU clean up. Cleaning supplies will be available in the ready ring. Poop bags, and garbage pails will be available outside. Please help us keep the surrounding grounds clean!!!!
