Our packaging features a prominent logo, beautiful sepia tone photography and a streamlined aesthetic, but its cornerstone is the Petlinks System. In consultation with veterinarians, pet experts and pet parents, we identified six core needs that are divided into color coded sub-needs. It educates consumers about their pet s many needs and easily identifies the products that meet those needs. We prominently display the Petlinks seal on all branded materials. This seal informs consumers of our Satisfaction Guarantee and our Safe For Pets pledge, which states that each product meets or exceeds all applicable safety standards. Eco Advantages further educate consumers about the environmentally responsible materials used in the product. The packaging also engages consumers with a sub-need specific behavior question. Addressing the universal challenges of pet ownership, these questions and answers offer consumers problem-solving advice, reinforcing Petlinks reputation as a pet authority. 6 We proudly display this seal on all our packaging, declaring to consumers the principles that form the foundation of everything we do: pet safety, customer satisfaction and environmental responsibility. Petlinks products are designed to child safety standards, exceeding the requirements of even the strictest pet retailers. Every product is then tested against those standards to ensure they meet our quality and safety requirements. Only then is a Petlinks product released to retailers and consumers. And if a consumer is dissatisfied with a Petlinks product for any reason, we ll replace it or refund their money. No questions asked. 4

7 SINCE 1990 we have been committed to using environmentally responsible materials. Petlinks products are made with high quality recycled, reclaimed, organic and sustainable materials whenever possible. Recycled plastics: Our dog beds, cat beds and soft toys use EcoRest fiberfill made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. Other types of recycled plastics are a plentiful commodity that we convert into sleek and durable plastic toys and accessories. Recycled cardboard & paper: The recycled cardboard used in our scratchers not only makes a great scratching surface, when it s worn out it can be recycled as well. Plus a percentage of the paper used in our product packaging comes from recycled post-consumer sources. Reclaimed foam: Our bedding gives new life to remnants of visco-elastic, or memory foam, and conventional foams that are leftover from the production of human beds, pillows and other foam products. Soy foam: Some of our beds include BeneFoam, a soybean-based foam that is a resilient and comfortable alternative to the petrochemical-based foams typically used in pet bedding. Organic catnip: Our catnip has been organic since before organic became a buzzword. Because cats come into close contact with catnip, 100% organic catnip that s grown, processed and packed without pesticides or chemicals is a healthier choice for cats. 5
