The bird eats out of the trough and what the bird drops or rakes out gets caught by the feeder and is sent back through the outside of the aviary where it is held. All you have to do is lift up the sliding back door and retrieve the left over food hulls. Your aviary service representative will sift the hulls and put the whole seed back in the top of the feeder for the birds to finish eating! No mess, no waste, no fuss! Quality Materials Aluminum Interior Secure Door Locks We use only the best wood and other materials in our Serenity Aviaries. Each bird aviary comes standard with a solid oak frame, is fully lined with an anodized aluminum interior (not powder coated steel), comes standard with acrylic front and sides, and is made with materials bought from many suppliers close to our facility in northern Wisconsin. All our Serenity Aviaries are fully lined with an anodized (not powder coated) aluminum interior, GUARANTEED against wood chewing from the inside. This also makes sanitation easier, preventing buildup of bacteria. No other service offers aviary lining like ours! All our Serenity Aviaries have secure keyed door locks to keep animals in and people out! 9

Our Standard Finches Zebra Finches These Australian finches average about 4 inches, with grey heads and backs, dark wings, and a barred tail with black and white.

10 Our Standard Finches Zebra Finches These Australian finches average about 4 inches, with grey heads and backs, dark wings, and a barred tail with black and white. Both sexes also have brown eyes, black tear drops below the mid-eye, white bellies and orange legs. Males have chestnut cheek patches, black and white zebra stripes on the chin, and neck and upper chests have a solid black band meeting the belly. The male also has chestnut flanks with many white spots and a red-orange beak. Society Finches These beautiful 4 inch singing birds are usually chocolate with a two-toned beak. Feathers directly surrounding the beak and throat are nearly black but quickly blend to a deep chocolate colored brown, while the chest and belly areas are covered in a scallop design of off white and chocolate. Many color mutations exist in this bird, the most common being a mottled pied, where white feathers are randomly strewn throughout the normal coloring of the bird. Breeding Pairs Available! Mating pairs do not come standard, however if you would like some in your aviary we will be happy to provide them. However, if an interim service visit is required due to complications, extra service charges may apply. Our Premium Finches Two or more of our premium finches are included with each one of our packages. For an extra charge additional premium birds may be substituted in any package and are guaranteed so long as Serenity is providing service for your aviary. Ask a representative for more details. Orange Cheek These tiny and energetic African birds only grow to be 3 inches in length, but will enlighten any aviary with their vivid colors and beautiful chirping. Males and females both have a distinctive and bright orange cheek patch on both sides, and they love to fly around the aviary. Cut-throat These rare and beautiful African beige-brown dappled finches, also known as Ribbon finches, grow to about 5 inches in length, with males easily distinguished by their bright scarlet throats. These extremely sociable waxbills form strong bonds with their mates, and the males have the most beautiful song. ShaftTail These beautiful Australian finches have a silver-gray head with rosy-brown bodies and a black mask from beaks to eyes. Averaging 5-6 inches in length, these are hardy birds that get along well with other species of finch. These waxbills are also very comical to watch while singing. They take turns bobbing their heads while the male sings! 10 Lady Gouldian These beautiful Australian finches grow to about 5 inches. Three distinct head colors include black, red and yellow (or orange). These colors can be combined with different forms of breast colors including purple, lilac, white and blue. Normally the back color is green. Gouldians were named by naturalist John Gould after his wife which he felt resembled their beauty. Blue-Capped Cordon Bleu Also known as blue-breasted waxbills, these small, very striking African birds have deep sky blue coloring and a wonderful melodious song and dance, and grow to be 4-5 inches. Males have red cheek spots, and these birds get along well with others in the aviary.

Showcase finches, once upgraded are guaranteed, so long as Serenity is providing aviary service. Below are just a few of our Showcase finches. (Showcase finches may vary due to availability). Ask a representative for details. Bearded Tit These unique European and Asian songbirds - also known as Bearded Reedlings - are very sociable birds with a characteristic "ping" call. Despite the name, only the female has a beard. The male has a moustache instead, made of two black pointed tears coming from either side of his mouth. Both males and females are mainly brown with long tails and rounded bodies. Pintail Whydah These beautiful African birds are named "Whydah" from a town in Nigeria where they are commonly found. Females grow to about 5 inches in length, while the males of the species - which are around 6 inches long - also grow a beautiful plumed tail each season, which often reaches 10 inches or more! These birds also have a beautiful, twittering song, and are a gorgeous addition to any aviary. Owl Finch Striking llittle birds, full of personality, and one of the smallest in the finch world at about 4 in length. These beautiful natives of Australia are acrobats in the air, and when not flying, love sitting together on a perch and preening each other. Bonds that pairs of owl finches form are very strong and lifelong. Singing Canary These active, cheerful songbirds are available in a variety of colors, and will grow anywhere from 4 to 8 inches in length. No other bird has such a beautiful song as these striking members of the finch family, native to the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa. Easy to care for, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the antics of these little charmers, and their pretty songs as well. Please note, only one canary per aviary is recommended if you would like them to sing. 11
