What began in 1973 with the starting mechanism of a power saw and two simple wooden shells has grown over time to become a successful business venture. flexi today exports around 90% of its retractable leashes to more than 60 countries. With the help of the integrated braking system, the dog owner is able to restrain the dog. In addition, a lock button can set the length of leash when walking to heel. 3 THE FUNCTION OF THE flexi LEASH BASIC FUNCTION Hold the leash by the handle the cord or tape feeds and retracts gently without slack. The dog enjoys maximum freedom of movement. SHORT STOP You stop the free movement of the dog by pushing the braking button. The dog can now be directed. LOCK TO HEEL In order to walk your dog to heel, have the cord/tape fully retracted into the leash casing. Push the brake button down and slide the constant lock button forward. To release the brake simply pull back the constant lock with your thumb. The constant lock should only be used when your dog is to be kept at heel. A good braking system should enable easy and reliable operation, but should also be harmoniously integrated into the overall function of the leash. The brake and lock buttons on the flexi leashes are ergonomically positioned to guarantee the greatest comfort and ease of operation. PULLING BACK THE DOG In order to pull back the dog, first push the braking button 1. Now move your arm backwards 2 to pull the dog toward you. Release the braking button again and move your arm forward 3. The cord now retracts automatically.
