Place your order as soon as possible as some varieties are in short supply. Orders will be processed in date order. PLANTS WILL BE DUG AT THE OPTIMAL TIME FOR THE IRIS, USUALLY AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER. DIGGING AND DELIVERY TIMES MAY VARY DEPENDING UPON WEATHER CONDITIONS.

3 TALL BEARDED IRIS Tall Bearded Iris are known as the Orchid of the perennial world. They provide a stunning splash of color in the garden from May through June. Ideal for cutting and arranging. USDA Hardiness Zones 3-8. CULTURE: Full sun and well-drained soil are essential. Regular fertilization with Plant-tone is suggested as Iris are heavy feeders. When planting, the top of the iris rhizome should barely show at the soil surface. Space 12"-18" apart. Do not cover with mulch. You may divide Iris between June and October, but cut the foliage back. During fall clean-up, cut the foliage back and burn it to prevent spread of disease.
