1 FlexVey PUR New flexible feed conveying system with longer service life Big Dutchman introduces FlexVey PUR, a new feed conveying system. This innovative system utilizes a flexible, pliable tube which is very quiet to operate and is extremely resistant to wear and tear. The special feature of our new product is spiral hose made of high quality, wear resistant polyurethane. Endurance tests have shown that the service life of this system is four to five times longer than that of traditional conveying systems. The pliable hose is easily installed, very flexible and available in 3 inch (75mm) and 3-1/2 inch (90mm) sizes. Complicated mounting around corners is now a thing of the past. This system is also very quiet to operate, an additional advantage which reflects positively on the behavior of the birds and reduces stressful situations in the house. 2 NXB Nest Series Designed and engineered specifically for the Next Breed of Breeder Hens The NXB product line is the newest member of the Big Dutchman family of the nesting systems. The newly developed automatic single lying nest is especially well suited for broiler breeders. The NXB product line is available in both the NXB 1000 (center belt version) and the NXB 2000 (double side belt version). Each version is available in 96 inch long sections containing 16, 18 or 20 nest holes. The NXB nesting and collection system has been especially engineered to provide the producer the option to customize the nest to optimize the performance of current and future broiler breeders. Centrally activated pipe nest closures and egg shields are available for both nest versions. Plastic partitions between individual nest holes can be opened to create colony nest atmosphere for birds. The NXB 1000 utilizes an 8 inch egg belt made of either polyproprolene or the traditional woven. The NXB 2000 uses a 5 inch woven egg belt. Both nest versions have exceptional nest depths with well ventilated nest holes. Dark nest holes with tall grass, open bottom nest pads are inviting to hens. Concise structural nest design and standard passage lengths allow easy access to belts. The NXB nesting systems offer the best possible pre-requisites for successful production of broiler breeder hatching eggs. 3 FlexLED LED tube lamp innovative lighting with versatile application Big Dutchman introduces FlexLED, a new lighting system. This system uses a main cable which runs through the entire house outside the bird area without any plug connections. This arrangement ensures that the entire power remains in the line. Thanks to the plug and play principle, each LED tube can be installed individually in any place in either colony or aviary systems. In addition, all connections are water proof. The LED lamps use low levels of energy, have long service lives and are 0-100% dimmable. Even light distribution is attributed to the special housing profile which emits zero flickering even at low light intensities. 4 UniVent 788 New Version of the proven layer system with higher bird capacity. Big Dutchman introduces UniVent 788, a new belt battery poultry housing system. This new system utilizes many of the proven characteristics of earlier UniVent layer systems such as manure removal systems under every tier as well as the world-renowned Champion chain feeding system. The 117 (2.97 meters) cage sections yield more birds per running length than previous versions. This increase in birds in the system could result in fewer cage rows. The 4.5 (11.5cm) wide egg belt allows for a larger conveying system for removing of the increased number of eggs. The increased cage height allows for birds to stand fully upright. The Champion chain feeding system delivers uniform feed rations to all birds. Each cage has access to three (3) drinker nipples. 5 AVECH 2240 Next Generation Colony Housing for maximum profitability Big Dutchman introduces AVECH2240, a new colony laying system. This new system utilizes many of the proven characteristics of earlier colony systems such as manure removal systems under every tier as well as the world-renowned Champion chain feeding system. The Enrichable version efficiently houses birds in a protective environment. The Enriched version provides perches, scratch area and nest area. Each colony version is available in (3618mm) section lengths. Flexible nest curtains provide undisturbed egg laying for optimal laying performance. The 6 (150mm) egg belt increases the egg conveying capacity for each tier. The LED tube light system ensures an optimal illumination of the activity area. Concise structural system layout provides ample freedom of movement and thus permits the hens to act out their natural behavior. 6 AVECH IIIa Enriched Colony Housing with Quality Space Big Dutchman s AVECH IIIa colony system has been further developed to now provide increased manure drying capability. Attributed to this improvement is the larger cross sectional area of the polypropylene air duct as well as designated air hole locations. This new air duct is available in both the Enrichable and Enriched versions. Incorporating the world-renowned Champion chain feeding system provides superior feed conversion as well as uniform results. The central perch helps calm the flock. The Enriched version provides a safe and secure area for laying while the scratch area allows the hens to act out natural behaviors.
