CONCLUSION The scenario of layer industry in 2014 was not much different compared to the past years. The same issues in the broiler industry also affect the layer industry. Besides fulfilling the role to meet the protein requirement of the population, the industry has also been able to export table eggs to neighbouring countries. The export of table eggs in 2014 is 1.57 percent lower than the previous year.
