BRING ON THE HEAT MARKET GOAT SHOW 1.) Eligibility: The show will be open to all states. Classes are open only to 4 H and FFA members through the 12 th grade (plus pre club age children in grades K 4 and at least 5yrs.of age by Sept. 1). 2.) This show is open to any breed or crossbred wether or doe No Bucks 3.) CLASS WEIGHT: Goats will be weighed and divided into classes. Minimum show weight is 35 lbs. 4.) NUMBER OF ENTRIES: Each exhibitor may enter a maximum of five animals. 5.) All goats must be dehorned or have horns tipped. 6.) All goats must be tagged with some kind of identification number. No tattoos will be accepted. A State tag is recommended. 7.) No substitute animals bring the ones you entered 8). SHOWMANSHIP: Each exhibitor may show one goat in showmanship. The goat shown must be entered in the show and owned and entered by the exhibitor. ENTRY FEE $10 PER EXHIBITOR 9.) CLASSES: Exhibitors must show their own goat without assistance. If an exhibitor has more than 1 goat in a class, they can have another exhibitor show goats for them. This must be cleared with show officials before the show starts. 10.) Entry fees will be paid back to the exhibitors in the form of prize money after show expenses are removed. 11.) HEALTH PAPERS: Certificate of Veterinary inspection with the following statement must be shown. All animals should be listed separately. no evidence of foot rot, scabies, sore mouth, or cutaneous fungal disease. All animals must have a Scrapie Tag. 12.) ENTRY DEADLINE: Received by Aug. 10, 2018/Late Entry until Aug. 15 13.) Bracing will be allowed 14.) Payouts will be determined by number of entries. BRING ON THE HEAT MARKET LAMB SHOW Air Conditioned Show Arena 1.) Eligibility: The show will be open to all states. There are NO weight limits. 5.) Lambs must have milk teeth. Any lamb showing evidence of any of their permanent incisors will not be allowed to show. 6.) NUMBER OF ENTRIES: Each exhibitor may enter a maximum of five animals. 7.) All lambs must be dehorned with their tails docked. Lambs MUST be in show condition (slick shorn, groomed, and carded). 8.) All lambs must be tagged with some kind of identification number. No tattoos will be accepted. A State tag is recommended. 9.) No substitute animals bring the ones you entered 10.) SHOWMANSHIP: Each exhibitor may show one lamb in showmanship. The lamb shown must be entered in the show and owned and entered by the exhibitor. ENTRY FEE $10 PER EXHIBITOR 11.) CLASSES: Exhibitors must show their own lamb without assistance. If an exhibitor has more than 1 lamb in a class, they can have another exhibitor show lambs for them. The Bring on the Heat Lamb Show Committee reserves the right to review the rules and make changes if necessary. All decisions made by the Show Committee are final. 15.) ENTRY DEADLINE: Received by Aug. 15, 2018 DO NOT MAIL ON/AFTER THIS DATE! 16.) Bracing will be allowed or any style of showing you may wish to use. 17.) Payouts will be determined by number of entries. 18.) Absolutely no refunds will be given!!

BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING!! PENS ARE 5x5 and FIRST COME FIRST SERVED! However, you may show off your trailer. Bring on the Heat show committee will pay at least 3 places in class and 3 places in showmanship. Additional money will be paid to Grand and Reserve. The sponsors and management of this show, the Coffee County BOE, do not assume any responsibility for accident or loss associated with this show. We ask that you please be respectful of every exhibitor and NOT bring any lamb that has active contagious fungal disease. Thank you for your cooperation and attention in this matter. We WILL show ewes and wether separately with lamb numbers permitting. Lambs will NOT be classified as Black Faced, Natural Colored, White faced/speckled, and Hair sheep. However, if numbers permit we may classify in the future. The show will be held at the Billy Walker Animal Science Facility on the Coffee Middle School campus. The address is 901 Connector 206 N, Douglas, Ga. 31533. All Entry forms must be postmarked by August 15, 2018. Entry Deadline and Late Fees will be strictly enforced! Late fee is an additional $15/head. Entries will be accepted the day of the show but must be paid in CASH! ($40 CASH) We will have a CONCESSION STAND on site with breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We invite everyone to please eat with us as the proceeds of the concession stand will benefit the Coffee Middle School FFA Chapter. THANK YOU!
