It is so lovely to be able to judge at this show as it is so close to home and the first club I became a committee member of. Thank you to Barbara for inviting me. I had a lovely day and was so lucky to be able to judge so many Tonkinese. I know I shouldn t have favourites but Tonks are certainly that! Class 295 - A.O.V. FOREIGN CHAMPION (GR CH) GC Singleton s CH TONKYWAY MY ZOHREH, (TOS a 21 33). F. Lovely blue tabby cpt Tonkinese female with a super sleek coat. She had an excellent overall balanced look with no extremes at all, although a tad narrow around the muzzle for perfection. A very pretty face and expressive blue eyes. A good clear, close-lying shiny coat with glacial white body colour contrasting with the bluish grey tabby points. I was really taken with this pretty young lady. Class 314 - A.C. TONKINESE (TONKINESE COLOUR RESTRICTION) ADULT 1 st CC Bernard s MIMAPERKS GRAZIOZO, (TOS f 32). F, 18.9.10. Petite brown tortie Tonkinese girl. A lovely clear coat with good definition of mingled tortie coat pattern, shiny and close lying. Nicely rounded top of head with good width between her neat ears and gently rounded contours, a moderate proportioned wedge. A good profile with a slight nose break leading to a good bite and a firm chin. Expressive blue green eyes with the top line slanted down towards the nose and the bottom slightly rounded. Slender legs and neat oval feet. I would have liked to see her carrying a little more weight but her sweet personality won me over. BOB Macey s IMP GR CH FECHELDEE SADIESHADES, (TOS f 32) F, 25.9.09. A very aristocratic looking tortie Tonk. Her coat was nicely mingled with tortie markings but still showing the subtle merging of the coat pattern. Very slightly flat top of head but with good width between her large ears, super width across the eyes. Large and expressive eyes, more almond shaped than round and a nice greeny blue colour. A super profile with a good nose break leading to a level bite and firm chin. A medium well balanced muscular body, slender legs and neat oval paws. Long tail to balance. Class 315a - A.C. TONKINESE (COLOURPOINTED PATTERN) ADULT, MALE 1 st CC BOB Singleton s PHABBAY GALACTIC COMET, (TOS b 33). M, 23.11.16. What a superstar! Gently rounded top of head with good width between the medium sized ears. A moderately proportioned wedge with a good muzzle and a definite whisker pinch. A tad more width across the cheekbones for perfection. A gentle nose break leading to a level bite and firm chin. Pale, expressive blue eyes more almond shaped than round and set well apart. A well-muscled firm body, with slightly rounded chest. Slender legs with neat, oval feet and a tapering tail to balance. Lovely clean coat that showed off the chocolate markings so well! I really liked this young man and wish him well in the future. Class 315b - A.C. TONKINESE (COLOURPOINTED PATTERN) ADULT, FEMALE Singleton s CH TONKYWAY MY ZOHREH, (TOS a 21 33). F, 6.3.15. see class 295 Class 352 - A.C. TONKINESE (COLOURPOINTED PATTERN) KITTEN 1 st BOB Hunter s TALLICA GHOST STORIES, (TOS o 21 33). F, 27.5.17. Too sweet for words! This very pretty cinnamon tabby cpt kitten was so incredibly well balanced. Everything was in the right place and she exuded health and confidence. Head a moderate wedge, good width between the well set

ears and a gentle profile with slight nose break. Expressive blue eyes set well. A medium, well balanced body, a very good size and weight for such a young age. Legs slender and well-muscled with neat and oval paws. She was my take home kitten of the day and fitted into my pocket really well! Class 357 - SNOW SPOTTED (AOC-EYED & BLUE-EYED) BENGAL KITTEN 1 st BOB Hadley s RHODIC CARAMAC OF LIGHTPAW, (BEN n 24 32). M 28.1.17 A gentle giant who was a super size and weight for such a young man. Head a well balanced broad medium wedge with a large and broad nose and slightly puffed nose leather. Good clear face markings. Profile showed gentle curves, firm chin and level bite. Ears medium in size, broad at base with good width between. Blue eyes slightly rounded, large in size, correctly set. Long muscular body developing substance nicely. Short, dense pelt like coat with super spots, all well defined and with many rosettes. Nicely spotted belly. A very handsome young man. Class 359 - EGYPTIAN MAU KITTEN 1 st BOB Williams NANCY DE LA VALLEE DU FELIN (IMP), (MAU n 24). FN, 18.2.17. A very pretty bronze Mau with a lovely head. Nicely rounded top of head with a slightly rounded wedge. Excellent profile shows a gentle contour with a slight rise from the bridge of the nose to the forehead. Medium to large ears are spaced well apart and are set well back on the head with a broad base. Expressive large rather muddy green eyes, shaped like rounded almonds and set beneath a level brow. Lovely well balanced body showing elegance and a hard muscular feel with elegant legs and feet and a long tail. Medium length, close lying coat with a lustrous sheen. Super dark brown markings on the warm coppery brown ground colour. Class 364a TOYGER Male 1 st M BOB Phillips TOBYSDEN TASUKI, (TOY). MN, 28.3.17. Very well balanced cat with definite stripes. Long, broad and deep head with a definite wedge. Gentle angle change on nose but well defined forehead and skull. Rounded small ears, set well. Medium eyes, gently hooded and amber in colour. Medium body, muscular and of good weight. Front and hind legs equal in length. Long thick tail with a rounded tip. Good contrast to coat. Ground colour brown with rufus tones. Some evidence of glitter. Vertically aligned body stripes, some faint spots evident but very few. Tabby markings radiate from face. Excellent temperament and condition. A lovely example of the breed, very relaxed. Class 364b TOYGER Male 1 st M Moreland s ADJULFO LUNA OPHELIA, (TOY) f 10.1.17 Well grown elegant cat. Fairly long head, broad and deep. Some evidence of angles, especially round cheeks. Head medium in size. Smallish eyes with gentle hooding. Medium to long body, large boned and robust. Strong muscular legs of equal size. Muscular tail of good length. Short dense coat, luxurious and slightly kittenish in places. Good contrast of dark stripes to light ground colour. Rather a lot of spots evident near spine and towards the flanks. A very gentle cat in lovely condition. Class 392a - A.C. TONKINESE (TONKINESE COLOUR RESTRICTION) NEUTER, MALE BOB Bernard s GR CH & UK & IMP GR PR COPERNICUS CHERRYBLOSSOM, (TOS f 32). FN, 23.5.06. An old favourite of mine who can still show herself off to perfection in front of a lovely line up of youngsters. A gently rounded top of head with good width between the medium sized ears. A

moderately proportioned wedge with a muzzle neither pointed or square and a definite whisker pinch. A gentle nose break leading to a level bite and firm chin. Pale, expressive bluey green eyes more almond shaped than round and set well apart. A well muscled firm body, with slightly rounded chest. Slender legs with neat, oval feet and a tapering tail to balance. Her short close lying coat was super glossy with clear brown tortie markings on her short, close lying coat. Class 702 - A.V. FOREIGN KITTEN 1 st Williams, NANCY DE LA VALLEE DU FELIN (IMP), (MAU n 24). FN. See class 359 2nd Jones, LEOPARDSVIEW SYBILS DREAM, (BEN n 24). F. A mouthy little monkey with an awful lot to say for himself but showed himself like a dream. Short coat, very dense and soft and luxurious to the touch and displaying plenty of glitter and super markings. Well balanced head with good clear face markings. Sleek and muscular body with strong muscular legs and large rounded paws. Tail medium in length, moderately thick and even with a rounded tip. 3 rd Bates, POUNCEALOT DAME PURRALOT, (ASH bs 11 31). F. What a super tabby pattern this pretty chocolate silver shaded Burmilla had! She had a short plush coat with a super silky feel. Slight rounding to brow, slightly long top of head, good break to short nose, firm chin and level bite. Firm, muscular body with medium legs in proportion and a super plumed tail. =3 rd Phillips TOBYSDEN TASUKI, (TOY). MN, 28.3.17. see class 364b Class 707 - A.V. FOREIGN BREEDERS KITTEN 1 st Hunter s, TALLICA GHOST STORIES, (TOS o 21 33). F. see class 352 2 nd Bond, WOTMORE BELLA-TRICOLORE, (BEN n 24). F. A very striking brown spotted Bengal kitten who was rather nervous on the judges table but a total sweetie back in the security of her own pen. Lovely overall type and striking markings. Super well balanced head, slightly small in proportion to the body. Gentle curve to the profile and a large broad nose with puffed nose leather. Medium well set ears and almost round large eyes. Good size and weight for age. Short coat, very dense, luxurious and soft to the touch. =2 nd Jones, LEOPARDSVIEW SYBILS DREAM, (BEN n 24). F. see class 702 3 rd Bates, POUNCEALOT DAME PURRALOT, (ASH bs 11 31). F. see class 702 Class 713 - A.V. FOREIGN KITTEN UNDER 6 MONTHS Oh my! What a class. Four stunning kittens and hardly a whisker to choose between them! 1 st Warden s, CWMBREFI ASH, (SPH c). M. Striking lilac sphynx that showed himself so well displaying that lovely elegant look! Super head shape with super pale blue lemon shaped eyes. Strong chin and level bite. Hard and muscular body with a fine covering of down, giving the feel and appearance of chamois leather. Loads of wrinkles. A lovely friendly young man presented very well. 2 nd Gee s, SAPPHIRESTAR JERSEY GIRL, (SNO n 05). F. Pretty snowshoe female with superb facial markings, a little nervous but happy to be handled. Nicely rounded top of head with slightly flat

forehead. Slight slope from forehead down to straight nose, level bite and firm chin. Walnut shaped, expressive blue eyes. Medium sized elegant, well balanced body. Short, glossy, close lying coat displaying the preferred pattern. =2 nd Bond s, WOTMORE GABRIELLA, (BEN n 24). F. What a friendly soul this lovely brown spotted Bengal kitten was! Head a broad medium wedge with rounded contours and slightly longer than wide. Slightly fine round muzzle but with prominent whisker pads. Nose large and broad with a slightly puffed nose leather. Long, sleek and muscular body. Lovely long tail with a rounded tip. Loads of lovely spots on her shiny sleek coat. =2 nd Stone s, JANAMEL JAVA LAVA, (SIN). M. What a handsome and confident young Singapura male. He displayed lovely type and looked just like the picture on the tin! A rounded skull with width at outer eye that narrowed to a definite whisker break. Medium, short, broad muzzle with blunt nose. Distinctive large eyes with a dark outline. A medium to large body although lithe and muscular. Elegant legs and small oval feet. Tail to balance. All this beauty and such a sweet temperament to match! Class 717 - A.V. FOREIGN NEUTER 1 st Ormerod s, PR BRIGHTLITE SLINKY MALINKI, (RUS n). MN. How lovely to see such a good example of a black Russian. I m not lucky enough to see them very often. An elegant and balanced cat with good muscle tone. Good head shape and profile with large and pointed ears, wide at the base and set vertically to the head. Level bite and firm chin with prominent whisker pads. Short fine dense coat with a crisp feel and a very even black colour. 2 nd Woodley s PR SKAMPAWS STAROF OLAF, (ASH m 22 31). MN. Very pretty caramel Asian classic tabby. Well rounded top of head, good width between fairly large wide-based ears with rounded tips and a lovely profile. Short wedge, wide at cheeks, tapering to blunt muzzle of good width. Beautiful eyes, large and lustrous, set well apart and correctly shaped. Firm muscular body and short sleek coat. Class 732 - A.C. BURMESE ADULT 1 st Marshall s, GR CH MILLGILL GENTLE GRACE, (BUR c). F. This lovely seven year old lilac Burmese girl was looking really lovely today. She sat serenely in her pen but also showed herself very calmly on the table. Head forms a short wedge, wide at the cheek bones and tapering to a blunt, slightly chunky, finish at the muzzle. The whisker pads were very slightly puffed. Top of head is slightly rounded and there is good width between her neat medium ears that have a slight forward tilt. Good depth from top of the head and the brow slightly rounded. A distinct nose break is followed by a straight nose but needs more depth of chin. Large, lustrous eyes set well apart and are yellow in colour with a green rim. Super muscular body, heavier than it looks. Slender legs in proportion to the body and paws neat and oval in shape. Straight medium thick tail tapering to a rounded tip and good length to balance body. Short close lying coat with a lovely texture. The coat is a pale delicate dove grey with a pleasing slight pinkish cast. Class 744 - A.C. BURMESE VISITORS ADULT 1 st Alp s, CH BHARANI DIAMOND LIL, (BUR n). F. I loved this brown Burmese female. Although still young she had a mature look about her and a super cross expression. Her head was in proportion to

her body. Viewed from the front it formed a short wedge, wide at the cheek bones and tapering to a blunt finish at the muzzle. The top of her head was slightly rounded between her medium sized ears which were set well apart. In profile her head showed good depth between the top of her skull and her lower jaw and she had a rounded brow. She had a distinct nose break and a pleasing depth of chin. Slightly chewed brown whiskers. She has large lustrous copper eyes that have the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid. Hard muscular body of medium length and size with a strong rounded chest. Legs slender and in proportion with the rest of her body. Tail length balanced to her body of medium thickness and with a rounded tip. A really glossy coat, short, fine and satin like in texture. It was a rich warm seal brown with just a few white hairs around the neck. She was a little hissy while being handled but didn t really mean it! Class 745 - A.C. BURMESE KITTEN 1 st Wrigglesworth s, ROSSIKHAN AFTER DARK, (BUR n). M This delightful brown Burmese was a total love bug and so fussy that it was really difficult to deduce whether he had that typical cross expression or not! Everything appeared to be in the right place so I m sure the expression was there albeit well hidden. He had a lovely well balanced head with the top gently rounded between his medium sized well set ears. Viewed from the front it formed a short wedge, wide at the cheek bones and tapering to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Slightly rounded brow with distinct nose break, level bite and good depth of chin. His eyes were large and set well apart, of correct shape and yellow in colour. Hard muscular body of medium length and size with a strong rounded chest. Legs slender and in proportion with the rest of the body. Tail a little on the short side for perfection. Short, fine satin like coat, lying close to the body. Coat colour was a warm seal brown with one or two random white hairs round the neck. 2 nd Marshall s, MILLGILL OFTEN OUTRAGEOUS, (BUR b). M. Nicely proportioned chocolate Burmese kitten. Nice shape to the head with a super short wedge when viewed from the front, wide at the cheek bones and tapering nicely to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Gently rounded skull with good width between slightly small ears, set well apart. The ears are broad at the base, rounded at the tip and tilted forward. Lovely profile, showing good depth between the top of the head and the lower jaw. Slightly rounded brow with distinct nose break, level bite and good depth of chin and just a slight bump on the end of the nose. Yellow eyes set well apart and with the top line showing a slant to the nose and the lower line being rounded. Good size and weight to his hard, muscular body. Slender legs in proportion to the body, hind legs slightly longer than the front and neat oval paws. Tail of correct length to balance. Super short fine coat with a lovely glossy sheen. Coat colour an even warm milk chocolate. Class 862 - A.C. BURMESE ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER It was really difficult to place these lovely cats. 1 st Corkhill, IOCOSA VOULEZ-VOUS, (BUR h). FN. What a super cross expression this chocolate tortie female has. Just one year old she showed great maturity. The head, carried on a medium neck, was in proportion to the body. Viewed from the front it formed a short wedge with excellent width at the cheek bones, tapering to a short, blunt finish at the muzzle. Slightly flat on top of head between the medium ears which are set well apart. The ears were correctly set but she was holding them rather upright, possibly through nerves. Good depth between the top of the skull and the lower jaw, with a slightly rounded brow when seen in profile. Would like a tad more definition to the nose break, leading to a straight nose and good depth of chin. Large and lustrous chartreuse eyes with

the top line showing a slant to the nose and the lower line being rounded. Medium sized body, feeling hard and muscular, heavier than she appears. Slender legs in proportion to the body with neat oval paws. Straight tail medium thickness at base and tapering to a rounded tip. Short fine coat satin like in texture, very glossy and chocolate in colour with shades of red. 2 nd Marshall, GR CH MILLGILL KIRKBRIDE KIN, (BUR a). F. A very gentle blue Burmese female. Her head is well balanced and shows a slightly rounded top with good width between her well set medium sized ears that are nicely shaped with slightly rounded tips, broad base and set with a slight forward tilt, the outer line following the line of her wedge. Her wedge is short and wide and ends in a blunt muzzle. In profile her head shows generous depth and a gently rounded brow, distinct nose break, short straight nose, strong chin. Lovely long whiskers. She has large expressive deep yellow eyes with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom line. She has a firm weighty body that stands on elegant well shaped slender legs with neat oval paws. Tail just a little on the short side. Lovely texture to short close lying coat that is a soft blue grey with a distinct silver sheen. =2 nd Marshall, CH MILLGILL NARCOTIC NORMA, (BUR a). F. Another pretty Blue Burmese female. Her beautifully balanced head has a gently rounded top and very good width between her medium ears that are wide at the base with gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt. Her wedge is short and broad with a lovely blunt muzzle and good width at the jaw. She has a pleasing profile with a rounded brow and with a distinct break to her short nose and a slightly sloping chin. Her eyes are large and lustrous, yellow in colour and are well set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid and are set wide apart. She is of good size and weight with a firm well muscled body that stands on elegant limbs and neat oval paws, with balancing length to her well shaped tail. A short close lying coat, fine and satin like in texture. A mid-blue colour with lovely silvering. 3 rd Marshall, MILLGILL OFTEN OUTRAGEOUS, (BUR b).
