Point B.05 of CIC Agenda 1. Draft Commission Implementing Regulation amending Annexes I and II to Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 as regards animal health requirements for bovine tuberculosis in the model of veterinary certificates BOV-Х and BOV-Y and the entries for Israel, New Zealand and Paraguay in the lists of third countries, territories or parts thereof from which the introduction into the Union of live animals and fresh meat is authorised SANCO_7153_2014 rev.2

Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 1. In Part 1 of Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 the entry for New Zealand is replaced by the following: 'NZ New Zealand NZ-0 Whole country BOV-X, BOV- Y, RUM, POR-X, POR-Y OVI-X, OVI-Y III V XII

Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 2. In Part 1 of Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 the following entry is added to the Specific Conditions: XII : territory recognised as having officially tuberculosis-free bovine herds equivalent to those recognised based on the conditions laid down in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Annex A.I to Directive 64/432/EEC, for the purposes of exports to the Union of live animals certified according to the model of veterinary certificate BOV X or BOV-Y.

Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 3. Model certificate BOV-X II.2.6. they come from herds recognised as officially tuberculosis-free (6)(6b) ; (6b) Only for a territory appearing with entry "XII" in column 6 of Part 1 of Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 indicating that bovine herds officially declared tuberculosis-free are recognised based on equivalent conditions to those laid down in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Annex A.I to Directive 64/432/EEC for the purposes of exports to the Union of live animals certified according to the model of veterinary certificate BOV X.

Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 4. Model certificate BOV-Y II.2.5. they come from herds: (c) recognised as officially tuberculosis-free (6)(6a) ; (6a) Only for a territory appearing with entry "XII" in column 6 of Part 1 of Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 indicating that bovine herds officially declared tuberculosis-free are recognised based on equivalent conditions to those laid down in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Annex A.I to Directive 64/432/EEC for the purposes of exports to the Union of live animals certified according to the model of veterinary certificate BOV Y.

Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 5. Transitional period Article 2 For a transitional period until 30 June 2015, consignments of live animals accompanied by the appropriate veterinary certificates issued no later than 1 June 2015 in accordance with the models of veterinary certificates BOV-X and BOV- Y set out in Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 in their versions before the entry into force of this Regulation, may continue to be introduced into the Union.

Point B.04 of CIC Agenda 2. Draft Commission Implementing Decision amending the Annexes to Implementing Decision 2011/630/EU as regards the equivalence between officially tuberculosis-free bovine herds in Member States and in New Zealand and the information in the model animal health certificate on the quantity of semen SANTE_7001_2015 rev.3

ANNEX I to Decision 2011/630/EU List of third countries or parts thereof from which Member States shall authorise imports of semen of domestic animals of the bovine species Remarks Name of the Description of the ISO Code third country territory Additional guarantees (if appropriate) NZ New Zealand (***) (***) For the purposes of imports into the Union of semen of domestic animals of the bovine species, the bovine tuberculosis status of a bovine herd classified as C2, under the National Pest Management Strategy for bovine tuberculosis of New Zealand, is equivalent to the bovine tuberculosis status of a bovine herd that is recognised in a Member State as being an officially tuberculosis-free bovine herd in accordance with the conditions laid down in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Annex A.I to Directive 64/432/EEC

Annex II to Decision 2011/630/EU - health certificate II.4. The bovine animals standing at the semen collection centre: (8) II.4.1. come from herds which satisfy the conditions of paragraph 1(b) of Chapter I of Annex B to Directive 88/407/EEC; (8) For New Zealand, appearing with the entry XII in column 6 of Part 1 of Annex I to Commission Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 (OJ L 73, 20.3.2010, p.1), officially tuberculosis-free bovine herds shall be considered equivalent to officially tuberculosis-free bovine herds in the Member States recognised based on the conditions laid down in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Annex A.I to Council Directive 64/432/EEC.

Annex II to Decision 2011/630/EU - health certificate I.20. Quantity Quantity shall correspond to the number of straws of semen collected on a particlular date from an identified donor bull complying with particular conditions for bluetongue and EHD.

Decision 2011/630/EU Article 2 For a transitional period until 30 June 2015, consignments of semen of domestic animals of the bovine species accompanied by the appropriate animal health certificate issued no later than 1 June 2015 in accordance with the model animal health certificate set out in Section A of Part 1 of Annex II to Implementing Decision 2011/630/EU in its version before the entry into force of this Decision, may continue to be introduced into the Union.
