Ten Principles for Parents of Expo Exhibitors DO NOT feed, train, and care for the animal, for you are trying to teach the child responsibility and discipline. DO forgive a child for making mistakes in the show ring, for you have made mistakes too. DO NOT get mad when a child forgets items for the show box, for one day you may forget the show box. DO help the Expo management committee, for they are doing jobs you would not want to do. DO be sure that your child is on time for all Expo activities, for you would not want to wait on another. DO be sure that your child has projects ready and registration papers in order by the designated time. DO teach the child that winning a blue ribbon is a desirable goal, but making friends along the way is a more worthy goal. DO NOT complain about the judge, for it is his/her opinion that has been sought. DO remember that livestock projects are teaching projects, not necessarily money making projects. DO remember that 4-H is a family organization and shall be enjoyed by the entire family. Department B 4-H/FFA BREEDING LIVESTOCK GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1.
