3rd Annual Lacy s Legacy Scottie & Westie Rescue REUNION Saturday, September 26, 2015 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (Rain or Shine) Carver County Fairgrounds Waconia, MN This year s picnic will once again be under one big roof of the Entertainment Building! Featuring the Class of 2015, our special rescues since last year s event. Join us for a day of fun to meet the latest rescue dogs and their families. See lots of items and get great bargains at our Scottie & Westie store. Participate in the silent aution, have a mouth-watering picnic lunch catered by Red s Café of Montrose, see wonderful items for sale from Crossroads Animal Shelter and listen to music by Bundle & Go. New this year will be a book signing by Herb Chilstrom. He will have his book My Friend Jonah & Other Dogs I Loved, available. Herb and Corinne adopted their newest Cairn Terrier, Charlie, from Lacy s Legacy in July. This year we will have a fun Rally Demonstration by Michelle Meyer from Waters Edge Retrievers.

We will also have water and treats for the furkids. Again, this year our Auction, Scottie & Westie Store, Lunch and Program will take place in the Entertainment Building (the largest building on the Carver County Fairgrounds). Eva Noth Photography - Mini Sessions Eva Noth Photography is excited to be returning to this year s 2015 Reunion picnic! Stop by the booth to sign-up for outdoor mini sessions, being held October 17 & 18, benefiting Lacy s Legacy Rescue. You can also sign-up for our online newsletter, enter to win a complimentary photo session, and grab a treat for your pups! First 100 sign-ups for our newsletter will receive a free doggy bandana to help your pup strut their stuff.

Raffle Information: Raffle items are $5 per ticket or 6 for $25. You can mix and match any combo for 6 tickets - be sure to specify how many of each item. Tickets will be drawn at the picnic on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. Winner need not be present to win*, but will be responsible for shipping or pick-up. Scottie Weathervane: This beautiful piece will look great in anyone s yard-especially those of us who love Scotties. This weathervane was graciously donated by Rosanne Kubicek and Cher Bear. Westie Planter: Handmade hanging wooden planter. Would look good in any garden! Planter graciously donated by O. McPherson Life-size Westie Sandicast: Add this lovely statue to your collection! * NOTE: this prize will NOT be shipped. Must be present to win and pick-up day of picnic. Volunteer or Foster: We would like to take advantage of this gathering to update our list of volunteers for foster homes and transporters. Lacy s Legacy will provide food, crates, leashes and collars and all medical expenses plus mileage reimbursement. With Social media the way it is we never know when or from where our next Lad or Lassie will be coming from. We need all the help we can get. If you have any questions talk to John or Steph and fill out a volunteer or foster form. Thanks much for your support! Things to Know the Day of the Picnic: For your comfort, and that of your dog(s), please bring an exercise pen if you have one. If not, please keep your dog(s) on a leash at all times. (No retractable leashes) Bring your favorite lawn chair. Water will be provided. Our Scottie & Westie Store was a big success last year. Find items for you and your terriers, and purchase them on the spot! This year, we have a lot of great items, all between $1-$10. If you have items to dontate to the Store or Silent Auction, please bring them the day of the picnic if you re arriving early.
