Hertfordshire & Middlesex C.C. 16/06/18 Mrs Di Brown My sincere thanks to Steph for the invitation to judge at this well run show, I had a super day, my Olympian class was really excellent and a real toughie to judge. Thanks also go to my excellent steward Barbie James, its always a pleasure, she is such good company and makes things tick along nicely. We were lucky to have the additional services of Seanah, she is a super lass, very grown up for her age and worked really hard. I do hope she enjoyed her day. Imperial Grand Premier Female A wonderful class of a lady neuters and a privilege to judge. Oly Chapman-Beer s OB, IGRCH & IGRPR CATAMARIAN EVITA (BUR a) FN 13/08/10. Gorgeous Burmese lady neuter, beautiful balanced throughout. Short wedge with blunt muzzle, broad rounded top of head and very good width at the cheek bones, ears medium in size, broad at the base and rounded at the tips, set well apart and to follow the upper part of the face. Gentle curve to brow with good depth of head in profile, distinct nose break, short straight nose that lines up with the chin and the bite is level, Lovely eyes for expression, large and lustrous, slanting slightly to the nose with a rounded lower line, golden yellow in colour. Medium length body with rounded chest, has very good muscle-tone and substance, slender legs in proportion and neat oval paws, tail tapers to a rounded a tip and balances. Mid blue coat with silvery sheen to the head and paws, super coat texture, beautifully short and close with the desired satin-like feel to it. Excellent temperament and presented in super condition. R Jones CH & UK IGRPR PERSY LARENDA (MCO f 03 22) FN. Another lovely lady neuter, she has excellent type and size. Excellent head slightly longer than wide, with balanced length from ear to nasal bridge and tip of nose, broad nose of uniform width with a shallow curve at the nasal bridge, nose tip rolls off slightly but lines up with her deep strong chin, muzzle square and broad. Full cheeks and high cheek bones. Ears large and tall with good width at the base and tapering to a pointed tufted tip, set high on the head with good width between. Round eyes with oblique setting, colour yellowish green. Long well-muscled body with very good breadth to chest, strong legs in proportion with large round paws showing long backward facing toe tufts, super tail beautifully plumed and of balancing length. Coat medium in length with full frontal ruff, has distinct flowing glossy top coat with soft undercoat and full shaggy breeches and tummy. Colouring very attractive, jet black tabby on warm agouti ground, overlain with rich red tortie, white mainly to chest tummy and paws. Super temperament, handled really well and was immaculately presented., 3 rd Cherkas IGRCH & OB, IGRPR JUSARKA THAI LILAC PROMISE (KOR) FN 26/06/07. Unlucky today, quite lovely with a dear little heart shaped face and super large prominent green eyes, also has an excellent coat. Handled well as always 4 th Underwood s IGRPR BARBIZON SAINT LUCIA (BUR c) FN 31/10/14. Another very good Burmese, she has the desired golden eye colour, her coat colour is a very nice pinkish toned lilac and her coat has good length and texture. Sporting a very slight pinch today. Excellent to handle 5 th Camilleri s IGRPR CHEHAM CHANTILLY LACE (RGM n 03 21 32) 24/04/16. Such a gentle girl with very good size and her coat was beautifully plush in texture. Nice broad
head with lovely walnut shaped eyes, very beguiling with the gentlest of expressions. A pleasure to handle. British Grand Premier GD Proctor s PR HEATHDOWN LEONARDO DAVINCI (BRI ny 12) MN 26/03/17. A handsome lad, well developed and a decent size for 14 months. Round head with full cheeks, ears small neat and rounded at the tips and nicely set, good breadth to the skull, rounded forehead, short nose, firm chin and level bite. Large round eyes, open in expression and mid green in colour. Medium length body, compact and weighty, with fairly broad chest and low hind quarters, short legs and tail to balance. Black tipping to surface of coat, mainly even throughout, just a slightly more solid line down the spine, with lovely warm apricot undercoat. Coat rather long but is very dense and it has a hint of crispness to it. Excellent temperament and presentation. Tabby Colourpoint Persian Neuter PC & BOB Willis CRYSTALMIST LATIN LYNDSEY (PER b 21 33) MN 01/04/16. A good sized neuter, type generally good although he is marginally long in the forehead for head balance. Skull fairly broad and nice and smooth, ears are small, but have rather long hairs at the tips distorting the rounded shape, set well apart and fitting the head well. Good stop and a short snub nose with full nose leather and open nostrils, strong chin, bite a touch under. Large round eyes and they are a good blue. Medium length body, cobby in type with plenty of substance, short legs with good bone, round tufted paws and a short brush tail. Darker chocolate tabby markings to points, well defined on the face, paler on the legs and tail rings just seen when shaken out. Coat of acceptable length given the time of year, slight frill to face and there is some fullness on the body with texture soft and fine, but the underbody lacks preparation. Very sweet tempered and easy to handle. British Red Adult BOB Rogers CH ADPIXBR RED-TED (BSH d) M 01/06/16. For me this lad is rather immature for 2 years old. His head type is fine but it is not very masculine at the moment. It is well rounded with good cheeks but could be broader and stronger, ears are small and set well. Rounded forehead, short very broad nose and has rather an exaggerated nose-break for a Brit, good firm chin and level bite. Large round eyes with open expression and lovely rich orange colour. Body is still quite long and narrow and could have more substance and muscle for a cat of this age, short strong legs and a medium length tail with rounded tip. Super colouring, rich vibrant red, coat a slightly long and soft, and could be denser. Border-line for the BOB today, needs to mature. A little nervous but very gentle, excellently presented. British Blue Adult CC Scalbetter s SCHALIKATZ DISCO VOLANTE BSH a) M 25/06/17. A good sized chap for 11 months although has some typically adolescent qualities at the moment. Round head with full cheeks, ears fairly small perhaps a touch tall at the moment more than anything but set well apart. Rounded forehead, short broad nose, chin firm, bite looked fine today. Good expression to eyes, colour deep gold. Body nice and weighty but is a little rangy at present and still to fill out, good bone to his short legs, tail with rounded tip to balance. Mid blue coat, showing some seasonal tipping and thus a little unsound, slightly long and quite soft in texture but very dense. Super temperament, a very easy boy to handle, excellently presented. BOB Gould s CH ALPHABERRY HERCULE POIROT (BSH a) M 04/09/16. Looking the more mature of the two boys, thus the BOB. Good strong head with broad skull and small
round tipped ears set well apart, nice fat cheeks and rounded muzzle, short nose, firm chin and level bite. Round eyes with good expression, deep gold in colour. Short strong neck with a well muscled body, nice and weighty, though still to fill out completely, short strong boned legs and tail to balance. Mid blue coat some light tipping evident and marginally unsound, rather long and quite soft in texture, losing hair today but still has good density. Another easy boy to handle, excellently presented. British Cream Adult BOB Hook s CH CAROLSKITTY WINSTON (BSH e) M 16/06/17. Just on the year and still very much a big baby. Round head with cheeks still to develop and skull to broaden, ears small and neat with rounded tips, set reasonably well apart. Rounded forehead with short nose, chin firm and bite level. Eyes of deep orange, most attractive against his coat colour. Body rangy and still to fill out but good weight for size, has good bone to his short legs and the tail with rounded tip balances. Mid cream coat even in tone, fairly sound and minimal for ghosting, a touch long but nice and dense with a hint of crispness to it. A sweet tempered chap who just needs to grow up. Excellently presented. British Blue, Lilac, Fawn Tortie & White Adult. BOB Potter s IGRCH KABENBE LORNA DOONE (BSH g 03) F 24/02/16. A super cobby lady of very good type. Round apple head with full cheeks, has very good width to her skull between small neat ears that are set to follow the contours of the head. Rounded brow, short broad nose, firm chin lines up and the bite is level. Strong weighty body of cobby type, short strong legs and round paws, tail with rounded tip to balance. Attractive balance between mid blue, mid cream and white patches, the blue is sound and the cream minimal for ghosting, the white pristine and just over the one third white with inverted v to face, on chest tummy, with collar over neck, some on all four legs. Coat perhaps a touch long but is good for density. Excellent temperament and presentation. British AOC Spotted Adult CC & BOB Harris SILVERLININGS WELL SPOTTED (BSH a 24) F 29/07/17. An attractive young queen but more of a large kitten at the moment. Well round head with cheeks coming along nicely, has good width to her skull, she needs to grow into her ears but their setting is good. Rounded brow with short broad nose, firm chin and level bite. Open expression to eyes of bright orange colour. Medium length body fairly compact, with good weight for size, short legs and round paws, tail to balance. Mid blue spotting on oatmeal ground, pattern good with small well separated spots and just minimal linkage to the sides. Coat fairly short but could be denser thus laying a little flat today, but the texture is reasonable and should improve once she gets her winter coat. A sweet tempered lady, excellently presented. British Tipped Adult BOB Palmer s CH ADURTSH PRINCESS-ROSALYN (BSH ns 2) F 15/05/15. A mature lady of good type. Most attractive face, dominated by her large round green eyes emphasised by her black eye liner. Good width to the skull with dear little round tipped ears set well apart, rounded forehead with short broad nose, good chin lines up with the nose tip and the bite is level. Substantial body of cobby type with broad chest and low hindquarters, short strong legs and tail with rounded tip. Jet black tipping generally even, apart from a fairly well defined dorsal line, the coat is a touch long and felt a little greasy, seems to be changing her coat as it was full of dead hair and coming out in handfuls, perhaps a little more preparation would have helped matters. Good tempered and easy to handle.
Brown Burmese Kitten 1 st & BOB Jarvis KYMIAN WOLFE (BUR n) F 17/09/17. An attractive kitten who has grown on well since we last met. Short wedge with good width at the cheek bones, top of head well rounded and appears to have broadened a little, so her ears, which are medium in size, broad at the base and rounded at the tip, are now better set to follow the lines of the upper part of the face. Gentle rounding to the brow with good depth of head in profile, distinct nose break with short nose that rounds off slightly at the tip. Large eyes slanting to the nose with rounded lower line and set well apart, colour chartreuse. Medium length body with strong rounded chest, better covered today with some nice muscle developing, slender legs in proportion, tail tapers to a rounded tip and balances. Rich seal brown colour, has quite a sprinkling of white hairs over the neck and upper shoulders that look as though they are the result of injury. Coat much better today though losing hair, it is short and fairly close laying, and has acquired some gloss to it. A sweet babe who handled well. Excellently presented. Australian Mist Neuter BOB Newton s GRPR HILDREK DREAM-SEEKA (AUS b 24) FN 18/10/14. A lovely lady neuter, super size and she conforms really well to type. Moderate wedge with wide cheek bones, broad muzzle and well defined whisker pads, nicely rounded top, with her medium sized ears set to follow the upper part of the face with a slightly forward tilt. Large lustrous eyes, nicely shaped for open expression and with an oblique set, colour mid green. moderate dip to a broad nose of even width, good deep chin lines up with the nose tip and the bite is level. Substantial body with her waistline a touch larger than ideal but does have a very good tone to it, her chest is broad and rounded, with slender legs of medium length, tail with minimal taper to a rounded tip needs just a touch more length for balance. She has excellent pattern, with her warm chocolate spotting heavily invaded with agouti and giving the desired misted effect. Nice short coat with some undercoat to give the desired resilient effect, gleaming with health and condition. Handled well and was excellently presented Oriental Bicolour SH or LH Adult BOB Wood s CH ROSEAU SNAPE (OSH c 02 61) M 30/03/17. Not the largest of males and somewhat effeminate, he is nevertheless a very stylish boy. Longer wedge with very good width to the top of head and large flared ears set to balance. Almost straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Oriental eye shape and set with good depth of blue given the extreme amount of white he has. Long neck and a long elegant but well muscled body, long legs and neat paws, long whip tail to balance. Very high white with no colour on the head, has just a small pale lilac patch on the rump and a mainly lilac tail, however, he is not what it says on the tin! I have judged him several times and said so in my subsequent reports, so strictly speaking, as the registration has not been changed, I really should withhold on him. He displays all the signs of being pointed rather than solid as I have stated before, he is also a very high white, so 02, which is harlequin and about 65% white, is not correct. He really needs to be DNA tested, and if proven wrong I will happily apologise, but I think you will find that he has two copies of the cs gene. Slightly tense today but handled okay. Excellently presented. Oriental Longhair Neuter BOB Baxter s IGRPR PIPPASTRO I HAVE CINNED (OLH o 24) MN 02/06/15. I have judged this lad so many times and have little to add to previous critiques. He is a large strong and handsome neuter with wonderful vibrant green eyes, his colour is rich and his pattern is very good for a longhair. His coat length tends to vary, today is was good, and the texture was gorgeous as always. I would like a slightly finer muzzle for evenness of the wedge head, but
he has so many other good qualities that really is nit picking. Handled well today and was presented to perfection. Seal Point Siamese Adult CC & BOB Moores SENSUAL SIMPLY SEAL (SIA n) M 09/12/16. A stylish and elegant male though still a touch immature looking. Longer wedge with very good top of head, ears wide at the base and set to balance. Profile straight, chin good but bite scissored over. Oriental eye shape set and expression, colour could be a good deal deeper for a seal but is acceptable. Elegant neck, long slender but firm toned body, long legs, tail rather short for balance and has a small irregularity at the tip. Dark dense seal points with a modicum of warmth of tone, body very heavily shaded in cool toned seal, some contrast seen. Coat a touch long but lays close and the texture is good. Excellent temperament and presentation. Caramel Point Siamese Neuter Two very nice caramel neuter boys with not a great deal between them today. PC & BOB Powell s TINTALLY CELESTINUS (SIA m) MN 05/12/16. A strong handsome neuter boy. Medium length wedge with broad top, has huge ears that have a tendency to be held low. Profile a touch uneven with a slight rise between the eyes and a following dip, good firm chin and level bite. Snooty expression to eyes of mid blue. Long weighty and well muscled body, long strong legs and spoon paws, long tapering tail. Blue-based caramel points, very dark and with super muddy brown overtones, off-white body quite heavily shaded to tone. Coat excellent, short and very close laying. An easy boy to handle and excellently presented. Also considered for BOB: derrick s GR PR TINTALLY WYSIWYG (SIA m) MN 07/05/16. An elegant boy, stands very tall. Medium length wedge with very good width to top of head, ears nicely flared and set to balance. Oriental eye shape and set with gentle expression and mid blue colour. Profile almost straight, chin lines up and the bite is level. Long elegant body that is surprisingly weighty and substantial, very long legs and neat paws, tapered tail almost balances. Blue-based caramel points with brownish overtones in evidence, off-white body with medium shading and good contrast, coat a little long and rather soft in texture today but manages to lay close. Very sweet natured, a friendly boy excellently presented. Tabby Point Siamese Adult CC & BOB Withers FABIO V IMPORIO A (SIA n 21) M 17/07/17. A beautifully developed boy for 10 months, but he does have that continental look. My goodness, those ears are something else, I had to work very hard to get him to put them somewhere vaguely near to the correct setting and then it was only momentary. Strong head with broad top line and the aforementioned huge fly me to the moon ears. Strong profile with lovely broad nose, deep chin and level bite. Excellent eyes for shape set and expression and the colour is gorgeous, brilliant deep sapphire blue. Tends to hunch his neck, long beautifully muscled body he is a substantial cat, long strong legs and quite large spoon paws, super long tapered tail to balance. Tabby markings dramatically pencilled in dark seal, distinct scarab and cheek ribbons, thumb prints to ears, multi bracelets to legs and a well ringed tail. Body shows good contrast and the coat is lovely, short sleek and very close laying. Overall a fabulous boy with so many good qualities that more than outweigh the OTT ears. Shy but gentle and presented to perfection. END OF REPORT
