Show is open to 4-H and FFA members who are between the ages of 7-18 as of January 1, 2016. 2. All animals must be owned and entered under the name of the exhibitor, who must show their own animals unless they have more than one animal per class. No limit to number of entries. 3. Pre-entries are due May 14 th or before. Late and day of show entry fee is an increase in fees. There will be no refunds. All late fees preferred to be paid in cash or money orders. 4. This will be a weigh your own animal show. Only Market animals need to be weighed. Weigh cards are due to the Registration table no later than 9 am on both days. No entry will be accepted after 9 am. 5. The show management reserves the right for weigh back. 10 lb weigh back on swine. 5 lb weigh back on sheep and goats. 10% weigh back on beef. Please use designated scales. 6. All animals are required to have official 4-H tags. If your tagging is after our show, you will need to work out with your extension agent a way to get your animals tagged.

7. All out of state animals require health papers within 30 days of the show. Out of state swine must have a negative blood test or originate from a disease free herd. 8. Show officials reserve the right to remove any animal from the grounds if it appears diseased, emaciated or extremely unthrifty. All animals are subject to examination by show officials/representatives. If infected animals are found, the entire trailer will be sent home. 9. Each exhibitor must provide own bedding and supplies. Exhibitors will need to clean up all straw or wood shavings from the area used and must be put in the designated area. 10. Due to limited space, exhibitors are encouraged to show out of their trailers. Generators and chutes are allowed and are encouraged. Please do not use stall space or pens to place tack in. We have a limited amount of space available for livestock. 11. No entry fees are required for Showmanship classes provided that you are entered in one breed or market class. 12. All exhibitors entered in Osage County classes must be members of Osage County 4-H or Osage County FFA. No entry fees required for these classes and only 1 entry per exhibitor. All breeds show together. 13. All persons who attend or participate in the show do so at their own risk. The Overbrook Livestock Committee and Overbrook Osage County Fair Board assume no liability for any accidents that may occur. The Overbrook Livestock Committee and Overbrook Osage County Fair Board assume no liability for loss or injury of livestock due to theft, mysterious disappearances, sickness or act of God. 14. Show coordinators reserve the right to keep any individual from showing for any reason they deem necessary. 15. Poor sportsmanship or inhumane treatment of animals is strictly prohibited. 16. Show coordinators reserve the right to decide any questions not covered in the list of rules. 17. Anyone with an outstanding insufficient funds check will not be allowed to show until the debt has been paid. 18. No intact males may be shown. 19. Concessions will be available both days of the show. Bucket Calf Show: 1. Exhibitors must be 4-H members age 7 to 12 as of January 1, 2016. 2. Entry fee is $15 per head. There will be no refunds. Entries need to be postmarked before or on May 14 th. Late and day of show entries will have a late of $20 per head. 3. All calves must be born after January 1, 2016. 4. A bucket calf is defined as an orphan or newborn calf, male or female, dairy, beef or cross, fed on a bucket or bottle. Bull calves need to be castrated prior to the show. 5. Bucket calves must be tied up, no pens. Class 1: Osage County Bucket Calves Class 2: 4-Her s ages 7-9 Class 3: 4-Her s ages 10-12

Beef Show: 1. Entry fee is $15 per head. There will be no refunds. Entries need to be postmarked before or on May 14 th. Late and day of show entries will have a late of $20 per head. 2. No Market animals allowed to show if born before January 1, 2015. No females allowed to show if born before August 1, 2014. 4. All market classes will be weighed and divided into classes by weight and breed. 5. Breeding heifers cannot be shown as market heifers. 6. Heifers must have registration papers to show in a breed class. 7. Health papers will be required at check-in for all out of state cattle. 8. Exhibitors must show their own animals for showmanship classes. No bucket calves in showmanship classes. 9. Must have 3 head or more to make a breed class. All Market lambs and goats must be born on or after January 1, 2016. 4. All market classes will be weighed and divided into classes by weight only. 5. Animals shown in Market classes are not eligible to show in breeding classes. Market lambs may be ewes or wethers. Market goats may be does or wethers. 6. All animals must be identified with a registered tattoo or an official USDA premise ID tag. Kids or lambs under 8 weeks of age, accompanying their dams, are exempt from identification/tagging requirements. 7. All animals must be checked by the vet before stepping on to the fair grounds. The show committee will provide a veterinarian to determine the presence or absence of fungal lesions. Health papers will be required at check in for all out of state sheep and goats. 8. Sheep must be slick shorn to 1/4 inch to the hock. Wool on the face and below the hock is allowed. No artificial coloring. All lambs must have lamb teeth. Sheep must have all four feet on the ground when bracing. 9. Goats, if horned, must be tipped (diameter of a dime). No artificial coloring. Must be clipped above the hocks and knees to a maximum of 3/8 inch hair length. Goats must be shown with all four feet on the ground and controlled with the use of a chain or collar. 10. Exhibitors must show their own animals for showmanship classes. 11. Must have 5 head or more to make a breed class. All swine must have been born on or our after January 1, 2016. 4. All market classes will be weighed and divided into classes by weight and breed. 5. Animals shown in Market Classes are not eligible to show in breeding classes. Market swine may be gilts or barrows. 6. Health papers will be required at check in for all out of state swine. 7. There needs to be 2 pigs per pen, bring dividers if necessary. 8. Exhibitors must show their own animal for showmanship classes. 9. Must have 5 head or more to make a breed class.
