March Birthdays Jeanette S. 3/1 George W. 3/5 Larry A. 3/15 Roberta H. 3/20 Dorothy was one of our very first residents who moved in to Green Acres! Dorothy grew up in Rogers City Michigan and raised 5 children! Her best memories were when she would go swimming in Lake Huron. Dorothy worked in a bakery on the NE side of Grand Rapids where she sold cookies and breads. Dorothy met her spouse in school. Her and her husband Don lived all over as he served in the Army. Dorothy enjoys watching her TV shows, games, Bingo, Yahtzee, cards, enjoys shopping, and swimming. Dorothy enjoys traveling to Roger City to see family, going to Cheboygan and Alpena to do shopping! Her hobbies are crocheting, and working on puzzles. We are thankful for Dorothy and she graciously provides us with her personal BINGO set every Friday to play with! Reside ~ Reflect ~ Relax

Welcome Our New Home Manager! This month we want to take the opportunity to welcome our new Home Manager, James Wyman. He has worked at several of the Green Acres campuses over the past eight years, and brings a verity of skills. Among other job duties, his major role will be to help oversee all tasks HR related. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Abigail and son Nicolas. When it comes to hobbies, you will find him coaching his younger siblings sports teams, or playing in the local softball league. James stresses teamwork when it comes to making the dream work! He also is looking forward to meeting all of our wonderful Green Acres family members. Please feel free to stop by and say hi! Staff Spotlight Meet Jeannette! Jeannette loves working at Green Acres because she enjoys spending time with them and seeing the smiles on their faces! Jeannette is 1 of 8 children in her family! She is a mother to 6 children, 1 boy, 5 girls, a daughter-in-law, 3 son-in-laws, and 12 grandchildren! Jeannette grew up in Forest Hills and attended school there. She also attended ITT Technical school. Her most favorite hobby, on her days off, are sewing, counted cross stitch, and in the summer, work in her garden! Jeannette has been working with older adults since she was 18 years old and has many years experience. One of her many talents are that she was in gymnastics when she was younger! Jeannette feels that being a team player with her co-workers makes her good at her job as a DCW. We are so thankful and blessed to have Jeannette at Green Acres! Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of both Lucille and Emma. Our staff were blessed by them both. Thank you for allowing us to care for such special ladies. May you find comfort during this time. Reside ~ Reflect ~ Relax Wish List for March Green Poster Board, Sugar Free Candies, BINGO Prizes, Green Ribbon, St. Patrick s Day decorations! Thank you to all the wonderful families for donating much needed items last month! We are so blessed by you all!
