ADDITION WORD PROBLEMS TO 20 PREPARATION: Print off the version you prefer, either colour or black and white, onto cardstock. Cut between the cards to separate, then laminate them. If you wish to put them on a ring, punch a hole in the top left hand corner of each card to attach them. HOW TO USE: Children choose a word problem card and read through the question, or listen to someone reading the question. Then they can start working on the problem. It is probable they will need to read the question a few times. Children can make use of the ten frames on each task card. If they re laminated, use dry erase markers to add each number in the question, then find the total. Otherwise, just place small objects such as small Cuisenaire cubes onto each square to find the total. I hope your children enjoy working on these Addition Word Problems to 20. 2016 Liz s Early Learning Spot for Playdough to Plato
