Lancashire Cat Club Show 10.3.18. Claire Lewis. I was asked by the Club to step in and judge some of the classes that were due to have been judged by Mrs Butters and Mrs Hardwick. I had some lovely cats and trust the exhibitors were not too disappointed to have me judging. I do however, have to sincerely apologise that my miscellaneous class slips were not handed in. I was working without a steward and with a very heavy book, all of which just goes to show, we do need the firm guiding hand of a good steward to keep us judges on course! I therefore enclose the results of these classes below. Finally, I was privileged to judge the BOV Semi Long Hair. There were some truly excellent contenders and I finally narrowed it down to my choice for Overall BOV SLH as the stunningly beautiful RagaMuffin girl, IMP GR PR FILENSIO PANDORA CHARM who was on top form today. She is an outstanding ambassador for the RagaMuffin breed and many congratulations to her breeder, owners and all her connections! CLASS 612- A.V. S.L.H. LIMIT KITTEN. 1 JONES S TINKSTINYPAWS DRAGON LORD (RAG n 03) M. Well-muscled, weighty young boy of good overall Ragdoll type with his head maturing nicely. Flat plane and gentle dip when viewed in profile. Prepared very well for the show and easy to handle. 2 McDOWELL S CHEHAM RAINBOW S GOLD (RGM n 03 22 32) F. A very sweet, gentle girl with a lot of promise. Good size and weight for her young age and that typical RagaMuffin expression developing nicely. Beautiful coat. A delight to handle. 3 SIMPSON S BRYNDLEY LOVES-YOUNG-DREAM (RAG a) F. A very happy friendly girl. Tail just a little short to balance her body at present. Her head is maturing and for preference I would like a little more width between her ears. Very pleasing eye colour for her age. Lovely to handle. CLASS 593 a- A.V. S.L.H. BREEDERS ADULT.
1 DUNN &EVANS CH ELMCOON STARMAN (MCO n 22) M. Very friendly chap. Long muscular body with good boning to the legs. Handled very well. 2 GREGSON S JULESCOON FFION (MCO f 22) F. Very attractive girl with a lovely mature head. Rather shy when out of the pen. 3 WILSON S MYPAWS JUST JACKSON (RAG n 04 21) M. Young lad with promising overall good Ragdoll type. CLASS 593 b- A.V. S.L.H. BREEDERS ADULT. 1 LYNCH S GR CH MAGISRAGIS PIGGY MALONE (RAG n 03) M. Lovely chap with good overall type and a very nice mature broad head. Eyes of a mid-blue and have the correct shape and set giving rise to a very pleasing expression. Very clam and content when being handled. 2 COWSILL S GR CH JAZZRAGZ SINGING THE BLUES (RAG a) F. This lady had some very nice qualities and showed good overall balance-nip and tuck between her and the above chap. 3 McLEAN &WEIR S RHODERNS FAIRYTALE (RAG a) F. Not a happy girl today and reluctant to come out of her pen. Unlucky to come up against the two higher placed cats who had better overall Ragdoll type. CLASS 594 a- A.V. S.L.H.NON- BREEDERS ADULT. 1 DICKENS CH ADJULSL POSHPAWS ROLO MYPAWS (RAG a) M. Large substantial chap of very good weight and substance. Excellent boning to the legs. Head is broad with rounded contours. Good flat plane and in profile shows a gentle dip-just needs a bit more chin. Easy to handle. 2 SCOTT S ADJULSL BAMBU BLU (RAG a) M. Happy, friendly lad who is still at the developing stage with his head but shows some promise. Typical adolescent. Easy to handle. 3 DUNN & EVANS HAILEY SKY BEYROUTH (MCO d 22) F. Limited assessment as this young lady was very reluctant to leave the sanctuary of her pen. CLASS 594 b- A.V. S.L.H.NON- BREEDERS ADULT.
1 LUBY S IMP GR CH MUSRAFY MIKOYAN (SIB ns 03 11) M. What a fantastic chap! I was very impressed with his overall type. Excellent head with its rounded contours and low set cheek bones. Dense coat with the typical Siberian soft undercoat and flowing guard hairs to make up the upper coarser coat. Impressive heft to his substantial body, very good boning and I loved the tufts between his toes. Very pleased to make him my BOV SLH Adult-many congratulations to his breeder and owners! 2 JONES IMP GR CH SARAGGS STUD MUFFIN (RAG n 03 21) M. Another super chap! Again, excellent overall type-this time for a Ragdoll. Very broad masculine head with a good flat plane and gentle dip. Large well opened eyes of a pleasing blue. His coat had been prepared immaculately for the show. Wonderful to judge these two impressive chaps! 3 McLEAN &WEIR S CAIRNSBRIAN FREDA (RAG n 03) F. A shy lady of nice type who was unlucky to come up against the above chaps today. CLASS 604- A.V. S.L.H. RADIUS ADULT. 1 JONES IMP GR CH SARAGGS STUD MUFFIN (RAG n 03 21) M. 2 LISTER S COONARIA ADELE (MCO f 03 22) F. Young lady who is going through that teenage stage where everything is growing at differing rates. Her body is of good size for her age. Her head is still at that developing stage and would benefit from time to mature and fill out. Easy to handle. CLASS 605-A.V. S.L.H. VISITORS ADULT. 1 MLYNEK & HAYWARD S CH MLYWARD XANDRA (SIB f) F. This was a highly competitive class with some quality exhibits. This young lady stood out with definite show presence. Very pretty girl with lovely overall type and superb show preparation with her stunning coat. 2 POOL S GR CH SARMOYAH YASMIN (SBI f 21) F. Another very impressive girl who ran the winner close. Very expressive eyes of a most pleasing colour. Again, full marks for presentation. 3 GREGSON S JULESCOON AZURA (MCO n 22) F. Female Maine Coon not quite a year old but with lots of promise of things to come. Attractive brown classic tabby coat. Very happy to be admired!
X3 BURGESS S MUSRAFY YURI GAGARIN (SIB n 23) M. Only just Adult, this young Siberian boy was a pleasure to judge. Very promising and should be very impressive once he has fully matured. Already of substantial size and weight but a complete softy when being handled and admired. CLASS 607-A.V. S.L.H. BREEDERS KITTEN. 1 LAWSON S ANGLEZARKE ROBINSON (MCO n 03 22) MN. What a super kitten! Mind you I did a double take when I first saw this contender in my kitten class as he is simply huge! Lovely look to this lad with a very nicely developing head. The icing on the cake was his fabulous temperament-a complete showman! My BOV SLH Kitten-and much deserved. 2 MILLIGAN S WESTLAKES IRISHDREAM (MCO d) F. A pretty young lady of pleasing overall type. Of excellent weight and with a good substantial feel to her growing body. Just a little naughty when being placed back in her pen. 3 JONES S TINKSTINYPAWS DRAGON LORD (RAG n 03) M. CLASS 620 a-a.v. S.L.H. NEUTER. 1 UNWIN S PR BADSWORTH CHEYSULI MCSIMPLY RED (MCO d 23) MN. Easy to handle chap with a firm muscular body. Medium length head with a strong square muzzle with a pleasing dip in profile. 2 DAVIES ANGLEZARKE BELLA (MCO n 03 22) FN. Not a happy lady today. She came out briefly to be admired and what I could see looked pleasing. 3 GUISE S GR PR ELMCOON ZEPHYR LILLY (MCO n 03 22) FN. Unfortunately, this lady made it very clear indeed that she had had enough by the time I reached her and for her sake and mine, I did not push the issue CLASS 620 b-a.v. S.L.H. NEUTER. 1 ARCHER S IMP GR PR FILENSIO PANDORA CHARM (RGM ns 03 21 32) FN. Oh my goodness this girl just takes your breath away! I wrote in my Judges Book looking simply stunning. She ticks all the boxes for the RagaMuffin Standard Of Points for me and is an wonderful example of the breed. I was
truly delighted to award her BOV Neuter and then to place her Overall BOVmany, many congratulations to all concerned! 2 UNWIN S ZIVANNAZ AULT JIMMY MCCOO (NFO ds 09 22) MN. A very handsome Norwegian lad with a lovely expression. 3 GASKELL S GR PR NORMAGIKATT MEKAL (NFO a 09) MN. A gentle giant with very pleasing overall type. X3 TIMPERLEY S PR ANGLEZARKE LADY GUINEVERE (MCO f 03 22) FN. Unfortunate to come up against such strong competition today. CLASS 628- A.V. TURKISH, SOMALI OR RAGDOLL NEUTER. 1 DINSDALE S UK IMP GR CH & GR PR DIZZZIPAWS ZEMO (RAG a 04) MN. An elder stateman of the breed with very good overall Ragdoll type.
