www.houstoncatclub.com Founded 1949 HOUSTON CAT CLUB, INC. July 10, 2009 2119 Claire Ct. Sugar Land, TX 77478 The Houston Cat Club, Inc. has begun fundraising efforts for our 2010 Annual Charity Cat Show. Sponsors, donors, advertisers, vendors, exhibitors, and show attendees help make successful cat shows. Financial show success benefits our goal to support some local Houston animal welfare organizations (Citizens for Animal Protection, Homeless Pet Placement League, Houston Humane Society, and the Houston SPCA), as well as, the Winn Feline Foundation. Since 1951, our efforts have enabled the Houston Cat Club to donate over $875,000 to such charities. We are pleased to have the Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists as our Corporate Sponsor since 2007. Our 58 th Annual Charity Cat Show will be held January 9-10, 2010, at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Exhibit Hall-A. Show hours: Saturday, January 9 th, from 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday, January 10 th, from 9:00am-4:00pm. Individuals and businesses are welcome to join as a sponsor, donor, or advertiser. Gain exposure to thousands of show attendees and hundreds of exhibitors viewing your name on a donor sign displayed on an easel near the exhibit hall entrance and your name or ad in their purchased copy of the Show Catalog. Deadline is Monday, November 30, 2009. The Houston Cat Club Annual Charity Cat Show is a long-standing tradition and a fun event. Show attendees enjoy learning about cats from watching and listening to the evaluations of beautiful pedigreed cats and mixed breed household pets by professional judges from the Cat Fancier s Association, Inc. In addition, various activities are available: numerous vendors for shopping and information, vet kiosks, Feline Agility Contest, Raffle, Children s Education Station, Book Sale, and the Author Book Signings. The featured authors will be Amy Shojai, Carole Nelson Douglas, and Dusty Rainbolt. Waldenbooks will be onsite to sell the authors books and donate a percentage of the proceeds to the Houston Cat Club. Attached to this funding request letter is information about the various sponsorship and donor levels, advertising rates, and their respective forms. We would gratefully appreciate your support. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Keitha Robinson at 281-844-1684. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Becky Carazzone Ms. Becky Carazzone President, Houston Cat Club Attachments (4) 1
