Entry forms have been included-they are due at the Extension Office on June 1, 2018. Penn State Ethics and Quality Assurance Training: All 4-Hers enrolled in animal projects will be required to attend a training and fill out a survey by July 1. See your leader for options and available trainings. Project books will be due on Saturday, July 14 or Friday, July 13 from 1p.m. to 6p.m. at the 4-H Building in Troy if you are NOT doing an interview. You will need to complete the new Goat Project and Record Book including two or more topics of interest, five new learning activities (four for beginner), two or more learning experiences, and two or more leadership and citizenship activities. The Quality Assurance section needs one completed activity and the Animal Records section needs to be completed in its entirety. Youth must also complete an Activity Report and a Story. This story should include information on experiences with the 4-H animal project, what was learned from completing the records, experiences gained from being involved in the 4-H Club, etc. If your books are not turned in on time, you will not be eligible to show your project at 4-H Roundup. If you want to know how you will be judged there are score sheets at the Extension Office and your leader will also have these score sheets. You must receive at least a white ribbon on your project in order to show. * Note, missing whole sections counts as a zero and costs you all the points for that section. Your 4-H/FFA youth Goat Show entries have been included. They also are available on the Bradford County Cooperative Extension Website in the 4-H and Youth Section under Member Resources. Any youth that does not clean out their goat pen will be charged a $10 fee.
