Contents First Australians Aboriginal Culture The Origin Of Water 18th Century England The First Fleet Bound For Botany Bay Points Of View News Report

First Australians The aboriginals were the first on Australian land. They are very close to animals their paintings are about animals. They hunt animals, they use them for food and use there skins for rugs, clothes and for there huts. They also use animal teeth for necklaces.

Aborigina l Culture Aboriginals have been living in Australia for more than 40,000 years!!! My aboriginal painting is about a kangaroo going to get some water from the lake, a aboriginal chases the kangaroo with a spear, but the kangaroo runs away just in time.

The Origin Of Water Prediction I think the story is a dreamtime story about how the water was made. Feelings Response The animals would of been angry with Bangarra. Gula would of been proud of himself. Moral Even if you're small, it does not mean that you can't do something. Summary Once there was no lakes, and only leaves to drink from.one day there was a blue tongue lizard called Bangarra. One day he found water! But he hid it. So the animals called a meeting and sent animals to follow Bangarra. But they failed every time. Then Gula the rat said he would go but the animals just laughed!!! Then Gula followed Bangarra and found the water the animals felt sorry and silly that they said Gula could not do it. Questions I don't understand how Bangarra could keep all the water under a flat rock.

18 Century England If kids didn't have anyone to look after them they got sent to orphanages, and had very little to eat. They also wore dark clothes. In the 18 century children and adults got hung even really little kids because they stole things to survive. The 18th century was a very poor time. Because if you stole something worth more than 5 shillings you could be hung. Soon there was so many criminals and not any room in the jails for them so they put them in ships that were rotting. They got the ships from the war with France.

My name is Hannah Smith and I'm 29. Right now I am on a ship called Charlotte in the middle of the ocean. I'm on this ship because I stole clothing. Daniel Gordon helped me steal the clothing.the clothing that I stole was worth 7 shillings. That may seem like something big thing to you, but I stole it because I have a three month year old son!!! I have to keep him warm, I also stole them because I don't have a job. My trial was at Winchester, Hampshire. My punishment was to be transported for 7 years. Luckily my son is on the same ship as me!!! I wonder were this land is. I died in 1826/10/17. The First Fleet

Bound For Botany Who is singing this song? The convicts are singing the song while they are on there way to Botany Bay. Bay Why are they singing it? To let people now days know what happened to them. Why are they saying farewell to Old England forever? When the convicts get there they won't have enough money to get a ship to bring them back to England. Where were they going? Why? The convicts are going to Botany Bay because they committed a crime like stealing clothing.
