YORKSHIRE CAT CLUB and NORTH OF BRITAIN LONGHAIR AND SEMILONGHAIR CAT CLUB. November 12 th 2016 Dr Bruce Bennett A splendid day at this big event, presided over as ever by Linda Ashmore and her busy team to whom many congratulations on piloting yet another show so successfully, and my thanks for their invitation. Sarah-Ruth Lee came to steward and has my sincere thanks. She is a great steward and an excellent companion on a very busy day. Oh my aching feet! YORKSHIRE CAT CLUB. ANY IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION ADULT MALE. OLY GR CC to BUJALSKA-AXON'S UK 0B IGR CH DELPHINIUM SWEET WILLIAM. M. (BRI n 24) 4 yr 6 mth. Spotted tabby British. A massive and very impressive male with a very splendid temperament to boot. Huge rounded head wonderful full cheeks; muzzle short and straight viewed from the front. Large open golden eyes with a benign and dreamy expression. Neat ears widely spaced on the broad skull, aligned to its contours. Clear profile break from a rounded forehead to a short strong muzzle. Chin deep, slopes very gently, bite meets. Body straight backed, very large and firm, set upon great strongly boned limbs and big rounded paws, thick slightly tapering tail balancing it all. Crisp textured coat shows a clear spotted body pattern, tail ringing and a broken spine line together with facial tabbying. Background shows a little brindling on the body. A wonderful gentle man who treated us with the utmost civility and affection despite his formidable masculinity. RES IMP GR CC to BROCK'S UK & I GR CH KEVELS TWICE AS NICE. M. (SIA b) 6 yr 6 mth. This wonderful Chocolate Pointed Siamese lad maintains his superb masculine type and exemplary colour beautifully. His head is a splendid even sided triangle, sporting ears of excellent size, alignment and flare, sleepy inclined oriental eyes of good depth to the blue. Excellent profile straight above and below a tiny angle at the bridge. Super masculine depth of muzzle, chin lines up, irregular incisors meeting. Lengthy elegant body of medium size, just a little slenderer than of yore, balancing length of limbs and tail. Super true milk chocolate points with practically unshaded ivory contrasting body completes a text book picture. Having one of his lazy days. 3. KIDD'S I GR CH SKIDDOSH SILVER SHOGUN. M. (BRI ns 22) 5 yr 6 mth. Another splendid British male, Silver Classic this time. Excellent large rounded head on which neat ears are set wide apart, eyes of pale green could be just a little larger for preference. Clear profile break to the short, straight muzzle, chin aligned, bite level. Large strong body a little rotund at the waist line today. Sturdily boned limbs, paws slightly daintier than expected. Wonderful crisp and dense coat exhibiting very handsome and correct classic pattern, dramatic against the silver. 4. MLYNECK & HAYWARD'S I GR CH MLYNECK XANTI. M. (SBI a) 1 yr 9 mth. Very handsome Blue Birman gentleman with a formidable presence. Broad head with full cheeks linked to an elegant fine but masculine muzzle. Well placed and spaced ears on his broad top. Excellent depth of blue to his medium large eyes. Clear dip from the brow to a muzzle that shows a tiny bump, level chin and bite. Strong medium large body that had had a good breakfast, balanced limbs of medium length and thick tail. Superb coat for length and silken texture, flowing ruff, breeches and generously furnished tail; even blue points, some body shading but plenty of contrast. 5. CASSAR-SIMMONDS' I GR CH FIORDILISO SANJAY'S JEWELS.M. (OSH n) 1 yr 8 mth. very elegant Oriental Black chap who has grown up since I last met him. He now looks quite formidable with an excellent wedge head, graced by large ears of size, showing flattering spacing and flare. Oriental eyes, well inclined green there but would like it a little more intense; my only criticism. Very good straight profile, level chin

and bite. Splendid close, gleaming black coat. Also considered; KIDD'S I GR CH CATYKES EDWINSON. M. (BRI as 22) 7 yr 6 mth. Yet another excellent Britisher. Super rounded head with width at the cheeks, firm broad muzzle. Lovely large eyes of pale green. Defined profile break, straight muzzle that could be a little deeper for perfection, aligned chin, incisors meeting just scissored over. Heavily boned body with strong neck, shoulders and chest, now a little slender over the hips and thighs so that rear limbs.look slighter than forelegs. Coat has excellent texture dense and crisp, lovely soft blue classic pattern over sophisticate muted silver background. PALMER'S I GR CH PENNYDOWN STRINGFELLOW. M. (EXO e 21 33) 3 yr 4 mth. Cream Tabby Colourpointed Exotic, handsome mature exotic gentleman, broad rounded head of good shape, ears neatly placed, low and spaced, pale blue eyes might be a little larger. Rounded forehead, very short nose below a deep stop, strong rounded chin below, lower incisors just under. Strong body, sturdy short limbs, balancing length of tail. Plush coat pattern blurred as creams may often be, just coalescing softly at the points. SIAMESE/BALINESE GRAND PREMIER MALE. I GR PC to COOK'S STYPERSON DREAMBOAT. MN. (SIA b 21) 2 yr 3 mth. Striking fellow with a fine triangular wedge head, sporting large flaring ears, strikingly inclined orientally shaped eyes of blue, Arching profile aligned chin, level bite. Slender body, matching limbs and tail. Darkish chocolate tabby tracery on mask and points, some similar shading on the body but good contrast evident. I hesitated before awarding as he is a little dainty and fine for a male, but let his elegant type prevail. AC BI-COLOUR RAGDOLL KITTEN MALE. 1. BoB. CANLIN'S RAGZNDREAMS PERFECT MATCH. M. (RAG a 03 21). 8 mth. Large blue tabby bicolour lad, well grown. Broad head with developed cheeks, neat rounded muzzle, ears wide apart on a fairly flat plain, neatly set and a little open, would prefer more obvious tilt. Large spaced eyes show generous curves to the lids, clear blue that could be deeper. Profile dips gently to the nose leather above a deep muzzle, rounded chin that is aligned well, level bite. Well grown firm body of substance, balancing medium, well boned limbs and matching tail. Attractive soft textured coat, good symmetry to the white inverted V, blue points show tabby tracings on the brow, thumb prints and tail rings not evident. White correctly distributed though the body colour has slipped over the left shoulder a little. 2. JONES & GRIFFITH'S DAISYBLUEPAWS BLUE JOVI. M. (RAG a 03) 3 mth 3 wk. Tiny babe apron strings still in place, very sleepy. Neat round head, with ears spaced and flaring a little on a flattish plane, some tilt and internal furnishings evident. Eyes a little small, but blue good. Profile shows a very shallow curve brow to nose leather, aligned chin, level bite. Baby body, covered by a soft kitten coat, matching limbs and length to the wispily furnished tail. Very good inverted V, with white correctly distributed on limbs and underparts with some on the body in permitted quantities. AC BI-COLOUR RAGDOLL KITTEN FEMALE. 1. BAXTER'S SARARAGGS SURPRISE SURPRISE. F. (RAG a 03) 6 mth 3 wk. Entered as indicated as a result of a typo, but judged as a Blue Tortie Tabby. Nice little girl with breadth to her head, ears blunt tipped and just tilting, widely spaced on an almost flat plane, eyes of good size, pale blue. Shallow profile curve brow to nose leather, deep muzzle and chin that lines up, bite level. Well balanced body and limbs with tail to match. Coat developing, soft in texture, inverted V on mask shows fair symmetry, white correct on tummy and limbs, quite a bit on body too but within the permitted one third. Blue tabby markings clear on forehead, with pale rusty red patch there and behind left ear. AC COLOURPOINTED OR MITTED RAGDOLL KITTEN FEMALE.

1. BoB.JONES & GRIFFITH'S ADPIXSL BRIGHT EYES. F. (RAG n) 7 mth. very pleasing little lady with a broad head, broad short rounded muzzle, very good topline with round tipped ears beautifully spaced and set just tilting on a flat plane. Eyes of good size and fair depth of blue. Profile dips to a neat straight muzzle of very good depth, chin aligned and level bite. Compact little body with proportionate limbs and tail. Coat of excellent soft texture, dense seal points with contrasting creamy fawn body. 2. COWSILL'S MERCHEYDOLLZ RENEE. F. (RAG f) 8 mth 1 wk; More mature lady with a head that shows good breadth at the cheekbones with a pleasing short broad muzzle beneath. Ears spaced on an almost flat plane, showing a little flare and some tilt. Eyes of good size and depth of blue. Profile curves down from brow to short straight muzzle. Chin slopes back a little, bite meets. Well developed body, proportionate limbs and tail. Coat developing well, good soft texture, excellent tortied points with lovely body contrast. 3. LYNCH'S MAGISRAGIS WISTERIA. F. (RAG a) 6 mth 12 wk: Comely lady with strength of head, breadth to it, with a dainty rounded muzzle beneath. Ears spaced on flat plane, eyes of good size, spaced and of mid blue shade. Profile dips to a muzzle the tip of which does show a tilt (!) and has depth to it. Chin aligned and firm, bite meeting. Firm body, matching limbs and length of tail that has a little rigidity at its tip but is well aligned.youngster's coat has softness to it, attractive blue points with contrasting pale body. 4. JAMIESON'S MERCHEYDOLLS ROXY ROCKS. F. (RAG f 21). 8 mths 1 wk Tortie Tabby Colourpointed Girl. Smart young lady, with a strongly boned head, basically rounded with a flat top between tilting ears that could be a little more spaced for preference. Good blue tone to her rounded eyes. Profile curves to a short muzzle that could be a little broader ideally. Excellent firm body, balancing strong limbs and length of tail. Coat has soft texture, a little short as yet, very smart seal tabby pointing with just the faintest warm smudge on the muzzle and a mottled paw pad on the right to justify the Tortie. Good body contrast. While this lady presents a smart overall appearance this is a little generic rather than specifically typical of the Ragdoll type and standard, a not altogether uncommon finding. Also considered SIMPSON'S BRYNDLEY PRINCESS-MARTHA. F. (RAG a) 7 mth 4 wk. Blue Colourpointed. Oval head to this girl, ears could be spaced a little more widely, though the top between the ears is fairly flat. The ears themselves are rounded at the tips and flare gently rather than tilting, the eyes are pale blue in colour. Profile shows a good curve to a neat muzzle just tip tilted, chin rounded in outline, aligned to the nose, level bite. Firm body, limbs and tail proportionate. Very attractive soft textured coat of lovely colour, icy body tones contrasting with the blue of the points. INCERTI'S CERULEANPRIDE FIFI. F. (RAG c) 8 mth 2 wk. Lilac Colourpointed. Petite lady for her age, head showing spaced ears on a slightly curving crown, flaring outward, perhaps a hint of a tilt, eyes large and rounded, pale blue shade. Profile shows a slightly high brow dipping to a short straight muzzle, well aligned chin of depth, level bite. Body fairly slender as yet though tummy full when we met, limbs and tail in keeping. Soft kitten coat, still to acquire length, points a slightly muddy lilac, mask incomplete, just a central smudge on the muzzle at present making it look even narrower than it is. Cute 'acorn leaf' pattern on the back of the ears, smudgy paws, with tufts, nice clear body contrast typical of lilacs. SEAL POINT SIAMESE ADULT. 1. BoB VANKIEWICZ'S SHERMESE KISMET. F. (SIA n) 3 yr 5 mth. Mature girl, quite diffident, even wedge head, ears set in line, eyes of oriental shape and incline, blue has depth. Excellent smooth profile curve, chin slopes a little. Long slender body, matching limbs and tail. Close lying coat dark seal points, body now heavily shaded but some contrast evident. AC SLH RADIUS KITTEN. 1. BROWN'S DALTEEMA BAZIL BRUSH. M. (SBI d 21) 5 mth 1 wk. Neat young man. Attractive head and expressive blue eyes, ears well spaced on the broad top. Firm body, balanced limbs
