Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue Advocating humane and healthy practices for animals in the Jaltemba area by promoting health, education, sterilization, adoptions, foster care and positive relationships with animals and their owners. December 2006 to November 2011: During this time, there were 11 clinics and more than 2,301 animals spayed or neutered in the Jaltemba Bay Area! Clinic Update: WOW, what a clinic! A total of 232 animals were brought in to the clinic (141 dogs and 90 cats) with a total of 214 animals sterilized (125 dogs and 89 cats). Consultations included 6 animals plus one parrot with a tumor. There were 15 animals adopted out including the 10 lucky dogs sent back to Canada with the McKenzie team from Victoria.
