Christmas basket program update Fellow lions members If you would like to donate a turkey to a family we sponsor for Christmas it would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that the other stores follow with good sale prices. Last year we anticipated them going on sale again for Christmas but the price didn't reduce much unfortunately. If you would like to donate one, please contact me at myblueeyedlion@gmail.com or 530-675-9654 so I can plan for pickup and freezer storage. I have room currently for about 12, with more room soon. I am currently waiting on family name nominations from the school's and other contacts. When received the angel tree with the children's names and ages will be placed at the

Effective January 1, 2017 through June 2017, the Lioness will prepare dinners only for the second general meeting, except for Official Visitations, due to rising costs and the lower number of dinners being purchased. It is no longer costeffective. A lengthy discussion was held about what we will be doing about changes regarding the dinners. Tabled to Board. Lion Mike Our attendance is getting awful. We need to be contacting our members, especially those we each have sponsored and get them involved. A little bit of time talking with our absent members will let them know they are needed and are missed. Everyone agreed that it is a problem; however, the holidays and family commitments may be one of the reasons why the attendance is low. 50/50 drawing - $28.00 won by Lion Janet Mincer.
