Waggin Tales Summer 2016 POB 13 Redwood, MS 39156 Phone: 601-529-1535 501(c)3 nonprofit www.pawsrescuepets.org COME. SIT. PLAY. and JOIN US for a PAW-Ty! PAWS RESCUE IS 12 YEARS OLD THIS MONTH! SATURDAY JULY 16TH 2015 From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. At PetSense 3405 Pemberton Square Blvd. in Vicksburg, MS Please join us for BBQ, Cake, Fun and Door Prizes! It is our 12 th Birthday, and it has been an unbelievable 12 years! At times, animal rescue work is stressful, time consuming, exhausting, and heartbreaking. We hang in there because there are so many more times where we have saved a life, healed wounds, eased suffering and pain, and witnessed the love and joy of a family with their newly adopted pet. We have also been fortunate to experience the unbelievable generosity from the people and businesses in our community. We have come this far because of your support. Our Birthday is our celebration of YOU! THANK YOU!

Thanks, Praise, and Appreciation go to all of our donors, business sponsors, volunteers, and those who have held a food drive or donated pet supplies for our homeless animals! Paws Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit, and we greatly appreciate your help! Special Thanks to: Alex and Kara delivered the spoils of their birthday parties to Board Member Natalia Vinas for delivery to Paws Rescue! Instead of Birthday presents, they requested food, funds or supplies to support the huge efforts of the foster families and our animal rescue work. They and their friends put together over 100 lbs. of food, $70 in funds, and supplies for crate cleaning. We are really proud of them and thankful for their awesome friends and the families who supported their food and supply drive for Paws Rescue! MANY THANKS TO THE PETFINDER FOUNDATION!! We want to thank the Petfinder Foundation for awarding Paws Rescue an Emergency Medical Grant. These grants assist with medical expenses for veterinary care necessary for a rescued pet to become adoptable. A BIG ROUND OF A-PAWS to the wonderful kids in Angela Coleman s kindergarten class at Redwood Elementary. They donated pet supplies to Paws Rescue at the end of the school year. They are animal rescuers in the making! Thank you!

Freddie Freddie is one cool cat He is a sweet, handsome boy who loves to be loved! He enjoys sitting in the window and soaking up the sun (because he can t go to the beach ). He also loves his foster kitty siblings and gets along with dogs. Freddie is 12 months old, neutered, and current on all of his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $25 with an approved application. For more information about Freddie or our other available cats, kittens, dogs and puppies, please go to our website www.pawsrescuepets.org where you can also download an adoption application. If you have additional questions about adopting Freddie or any of our cats or dogs, please email us at leigh@pawsrescuepets.org.

In New Hampshire with her new brother, Timber now as Spirit When Snowbelle was found. Spirit playing in the mud. Snowbelle had a horrible life. She was abandoned in a wire crate in the hot summer sun her owners who moved and left her there to die. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan saw her, rescued her, and brought her to us. She had a horrible case of mange and had been neglected. It took months for Paws Rescue to treat her and bring her back to health. Snowbelle is a wonderful girl who never lost her spirit or forgot how to show love. Once she was healthy, she was adopted a family in New Hampshire (which really suits her heavy coat!). They renamed her Spirit which fits her to a T considering all she has been through! Spirit is living the dream life now! Her new family has sent us regular updates on Spirit s new life Spirit is such a sweet, loving girl who is just so full of life! Just looking at her gets her tail wagging! She loves to be the center of attention and is very eager to please! She s been exploring New Hampshire little little - hiking, biking, and sledding, and is surely not afraid of an adventure! She has made herself quite comfortable here, and is a great sister and playmate to her husky brother Timber. They are two peas in a pod for sure! We are so happy to have her here with us! She loves the snow! I bought a dog sled this past winter so she and Timber loved taking it out on the trails. She loves to go running, biking, and hiking with Timber and I, and they are the best of friends! She is such a love bug and is a great addition to our family!
