Additional shirts will be available for purchase. You may register SUBSTITUTE animals the day of check-in, if you are pre-entered in the show. SHOWMANSHIP CLASSES: Entry Fee for showmanship will be $10.00. Pee Wee (5-7), Juniors (8-10), Intermediates (11-13), Seniors (14 - HS Senior) All exhibitors must show their own animals in the showmanship. Age is based on the age of the exhibitor on December 28, 2018. RULES AND REGULATIONS: All animals must have an Official Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (OCVI) (health papers), issued by an accredited veterinarian, at time of check-in. Animals must be free of ringworm and are subject to the health requirements of the State of Florida. All decisions made by the judge & show committee will be final. All goats or sheep entered for exhibition purposes must have an official individual identification in accordance with the National Scrapie Eradication Uniform Methods and Rules, APHIS 91-55-066, June 1, 2005. Animals must be ewes or wethers, NO rams will be allowed to show. Market lambs must have their milk teeth in place at the time of showing and be slick-shorn. Market lamb classes will be divided according to weight. Ewes or wethers are eligible for market lamb classes, however animals shown as market lambs are not eligible to compete in any other divisions. Breeding ewe classes will be divided according to age. Must have 10 entries in each division, otherwise entries will show in A.O.B. Number of classes and weight breaks will be determined by the show committee on show day. Any wether showing evidence of testicular tissue will be ineligible to show. Wethers and ewes will be eligible for the show. Market lambs and breeding ewes will be shown separately. Winners from individual classes in all divisions will be brought back together to compete for the top five Overall Individuals. Bracing lambs will be allowed. There will be no limit on the number of entries an exhibitor enters. Exhibitors must show their own lamb in class. If the exhibitor has more than one lamb in class they can have another exhibitor show for them. This must be cleared with show officials before showing. Each exhibitor/owner must assume liability in case of death or injury to his/her animal and any injury or death incurred by his/her animal. Trailers must be parked in designated parking areas. 12 x 12 stalls with are available for use, free of charge, including electrical outlets. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning their pens used before premiums are paid. Shavings will be available for purchase, if needed. Any violation may result in the disqualification of the animal and the exhibitor. If disqualified, all premiums and entry fees will be forfeited. All persons inside the barn area should always be clothed in appropriate barn attire, including closed toed shoes.
PREMIUMS: GRAND CHAMPION Market Lamb will receive a cash prize and buckle. RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION Market Lamb will receive cash prize and award. THIRD, FOURTH and FIFTH OVERALL Market Lamb will receive an award. GRAND CHAMPION Overall Breeding Ewe ( Supreme Ewe ) will receive a cash prize and buckle. RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION ( Reserve Supreme Ewe Overall Breeding Ewe will receive a cash prize and award. THIRD, FOURTH and FIFTH OVERALL Breeding Ewes will receive an award. FIRST THROUGH THIRD in Each Class Will Receive Premiums: 1 st - $25.00 2 nd - $15.00 3 rd - $10.00 Top 5 Overall per Breeding Division (BF, WF, Hair and AOB) will receive an award. GRAND CHAMPION SHOWMAN per division (Peewee, Junior, Intermediate and Senior )will receive a buckle. SECOND through FIFTH PLACE SHOWMEN per division will receive awards.
