She is a Perth girl who received her veterinary degree from Murdoch University in 1994. After initially pursuing a career in equine medicine and surgery which took her from Dunsborough to Melbourne for an internship and Master s degree, and then to the southwest of WA for a stud season, Belinda saw the light and commenced a residency in Diagnostic Imaging at Murdoch University. She was awarded her Fellowship of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in 2004. A longstanding member of staff in the Imaging section of Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital, Belinda provided imaging services for the hospital and teaching for undergraduate veterinary students.
