Page 4 Issue 23 ADOPTION UPDATES I just wanted to let you guys know that Rex aka Timber is doing great. He is a perfect puppy and to our surprise already house trained and crate trained. He is a sweet, calm! puppy. Thank you for all of your help. Dawn Thank you to everyone who has adopted an animals and given them a new and better life. When you adopt you actually save 2 lives, the life of the animal you adopt which then opens up a space for another animal to be brought in for adoption. If you have adopted an animal from HS CAR we would love an update with a picture on how they are doing in their new home. We love those happy endings. Hansel & Gretel, now Dakota & Gunner I wanted to share an update from my little babies (brother and sister) we rescued back in February 2013. After a 5 hour drive from Chesapeake, VA in a blizzard...we fell in love. We have renamed them Dakota and Gunner and they are doing wonderful. Housebroken, know 6 commands, meshed well with the elder dog (Shephard/Huskey female, Karlee). Karlee mothers them and they play for hours, only to sleep hours still. They have both been fixed and get tons of love everyday, especially since I've been laid off from work. Many thanks for what you do! Kerry Barone
