A biome is a community with certain plants and animals and these plants and animals live in a particular climate and environment; they depend on each other to survive. Let s take a look at our first biome... (Rainforest) The rainforest. In a rainforest it rains a lot. It is very wet. With lots of trees. Lots of animals live in the rain forest. Birds. Snakes. Monkeys Bats and gorillas. IN THE RAIN FOREST, THE RAIN FOREST IT RAINS ALL THE TIME THE RAIN FOREST IS FULL OF PLANTS AND TREES THE RAIN FOREST IS FULL OF ANIMIALS: GORILLAS, SNAKES AND MONKEYS 1
There was one particular snake named Fanger. (Fanger enters and hisses and looks very mean) of the animals in the rain forest were afraid of him. Oh no, here comes Fanger! He is so mean. Animal Animal He was a bully. When the animals saw Fanger coming, they d run away. Animal Here he comes, everybody hide! (The animals spread out and hide in the auditorium) One day a monkey stood up to Fanger and told him to stop being such a bully. Monkey Fanger, you are too mean. You need to learn to be nice to us. I m sorry I will try to be kind. Please forgive me. OK! And the rainforest became a much better place. Fanger Animals Hooray! Let s move on to another biome. You will see that each biome is very different. Our next biome is... (Wetlands) The wetlands! That is right. The wetlands are marshes and they are always wet and moist. Turtles are found on the wetlands and the marshes. The largest wetland animals are crocodiles and alligators, in fact here comes one of the crocodiles now. 2

I m glad the hikers are ok. Let s move along to our final Biome... (Ocean) The ocean! The ocean is made of salt water! It is the largest biome on the earth. The fish who live in the ocean breathe through their gills, this allows them to breathe under water. There are also sharks. Whales. Dolphins. There are also some little fish who were not happy. Why? The little fish were being eaten by a bale of sea turtles. What is a bale of sea turtles? A bale means a group of sea turtles. Yum yum, I love eating little fish. Noooooo!
