GUIDELINES GJSB / SUNGLO THROW DOWN 1. Any exhibitor 21 years of age or under is eligible to show. 2. All swine must be blood tested PRV and Brucellosis negative within the time prescribed by Georgia Department of Agriculture for show swine and must have a health certificate to enter the Fairgrounds. All out of state swine must have a prior permit number on the health certificate. 3. Participation in this show is reserved to members of the Georgia Junior Swine Boosters. If the showman is not already a member, this is easily accomplished by remitting the membership form and the membership fee along with this show entry form. 4. Entries are open to the world. Barrows and gilts are eligible to show. No boars! Swine will be shown by breeds at this show. Barrows and gilts will be shown together by weight. Projects will be classified at the time of weigh in. 5. THERE WILL BE NO WEIGH BACK. 6. All pig entries must have a clean, readable ear tag in place when entering the ring. There is no minimum time of ownership of pigs for this show. 7. There is no limit to the number of entries per exhibitor. 8. All entries must be postmarked by JANUARY 5 TH, 2019. The entry fee is $25.00 per pig plus $10 for showmanship. The late fee is $50.00 per pig. No entries accepted the day of the show. THE LATE FEE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. All entries are to be mailed to Rodney Conine, 4366 River Rd., Camilla GA 31730. There will be no refunds of entry fees. 9. Decisions of the judge and rules committee will be final. 10. The Georgia Junior Swine Boosters and any of its agents accept or assume no responsibility or risk for injury to any exhibitor or animal due to or resulting from participation in the show.
GA Bred Show Pig Association Prospect Hog Show Rules 1. All pigs participating in this show must have been raised or produced by a GA breeder who is a member of the GA Bred Show Pig Association. Exhibitors ages include pre-club through 21 years of age. 2. All pigs must have a GA Bred tag and ear notch recorded on entry form. If your pig(s) have other tags such as state or local show tags please record these # s on the entry form as well. 3. Pigs participating in this show ARE NOT REQUIRED to be entered in the State Market Hog Show. 4. At any time, if the GA Bred tag is lost or broken, contact your breeder to obtain a new tag. Please provide a written statement to Bryant Oliver describing the new tag number. 5. Any variation in tag or ear notch numbers will be grounds for disqualification. 8. All entry forms must be signed by breeder, agent/advisor, parent, and exhibitor(unless pre-club or college) -Any entries without proper signatures will not be allowed to show. 9. Pigs showing on Saturday DO NOT have to reweigh for Sunday. Pigs coming in on Sunday will weigh from 7am to 8:30am 10.. Barrows and gilts will be split for crosses and pures. 11. There are no minimum or maximum weight requirements. 12. Prize money will be paid for 1st through 5th places in each class based on the availability of funds. -Purebred awards will be based on the number of entries. 13.
